A political dramedy of sorts (Furuta makes everything a comedy to some degree), no ghouls AU and more of a corporate business AU.
The Washuu have a conglomerate over Thing, and due to the company's pursuit of said Thing, Koori has recently lost Hairu to some incident or other. Disillusioned by the system that he has worked the majority of his life under, Furuta exploits this feeling and ropes him into a means to usurp Tsuneyoshi from his position as chairman and put Furuta there instead. It is not-so-secretly a petty power play on Furuta's end, as he does not actually care for the company's wellbeing, and Koori catches onto this but finds himself caring less and less as they progress. There's a Sloppy Tongue Sunday scene somewhere in there. It's mildly uncomfortable for all involved, including the reader.
