So this is the Raw after Bad Blood ‘97. There’s a lot to talk about but there’s one specific thing I would like to get your take on and that’s the Jim Cornette shoot. Take a look when you have the time
Oh, wow, yeah, the nWo shoot. I saw this once a long time ago. Cornette makes a lot of decent points, namely that Scott Hall was the best of the "Clique", and Eric Bischoff treating WCW like his personal piggy bank, which was a big part of what hurt WCW in the long run, though I'm sure his views were a little exaggerated for effect(though, knowing Cornette in recent years, they may not have been). It's hard to figure out where I land on these and his other shoots. While I'd argue that the nWo and, even worse, the "cool heel" hurt the business in the long run, there's no denying that it worked for the time it happened in. I'm rambling a bit, but bottom line: I agree with a lot of what he said at the time, with certain provisos.
