oooooh i LOVE a black-and-white mocha (half mocha half white mocha), my alcohol of choice is hmmm usually a jack'n'coke but i love a cosmo or an amaretto sour, and my pop of choice is coke zero LOL if im at a restaurant or smth my go-to is a coke zero/diet coke tho, for purposes of succinctly answering this ahskljdlksfj

13. what’s something you learned recently?

oooh GREAT question. hmmm. i think semi-recently (like in the past 2 months) i learned that you can unravel a heart!! hearts are actually a wrapped up muscle that can be unrolled and flattened out, and your heart pumps blood the same way wringing a towel gets water out of it :) really delighted by this one!!! also recently did a little research spiral into american phone area codes. did you know the lower the number, the more important the region was considered? i.e., 217 is more important than 816 -- because 2 is fewer clicks on the dial pad than 8!

14. if you could give a TED talk on anything, what would you talk about?

OUGH UHHH HMMMM.... great question!! at the moment i dont feel qualified to give a ted talk on ANYTHING... i dont feel like i know the lore of anything that deeply... hm hm hm... easy answer is poetry, i think, particularly the way different sounds/letters convey different feelings (plosives vs liquids, etc)??? thats a fun one!

15. What’s a piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?

HAHA honestly probably something about the sunk cost fallacy? i think that's something i recognize often in the ppl around me and find myself pointing out because it's easy advice to give without seeming overbearing (sort of a JUST BREAK UP W HIM type of advice but applicable across anything LOL)

HAHA im listening to music so not a sonnet (hard to write poetry when listening to things with words) but lemme try to get you a drabble... (exactly 100 words below the cut)

Sunlight wanders in through the north window, while a buttered pan on the stove top holds eggs that pop and crackle quietly, the edges of their whites frying gold. The toaster ticks down until its final ding; the wall clock begins singing its chime as the hour turns to the next. Pancake flour litters the countertop like fairy dust. On the table, situated neatly under the window (in which hangs a stained glass rose throws rainbows and red hues across the wall), is a pitcher of orange juice, the glass bleeding condensation into a ring in the wood below it.

just plain ol cream white :/ the last time i had fun colored walls was as a child when i picked a truly garish neon green/lavender combo. alas since then ive been in landlord-special hell

HMMMMM like from when i was a kid? (<-- watches kids shows as an adult...) - i was always fond of beast boy from teen titans!! but i think my Favorite favorite was either gwen from total drama island, or jude from 6teen :D

sporadically. usually it's intentionally shitty black polish for concerts/shows/etc but every now and then i do em nicely for events. i flip flop between loving it and feeling like it's Too Feminine For My Desired Presentation yk

41. would you rather go on a date at a museum or a concert?

OOOOO hmm. i think it depends on how well i know the person. if it's someone i've bonded w through music then def concert, bc we dont need to Talk To Each Other about it, we can just feel the music and enjoy the show, & maybe post-concert dinner for yapping!! but like if it's someone i dont know as well, or perhaps someone whos a bit more into the quiet and relaxed thing, then museums are ALSO fun. hmm. i think i perceive museums as much more date-like than concerts. but i love live music sm.... hhh....
