New commission finished.

A monstrous predator that reign in the supercontinent on the moon of Serina around the Late Thermocene from a divergent timeline, the Burnished Bonebeak is one of the few legacies of the Kyrans to not only survive but also thrive on the brand new world.

To remark once again, this is a NON-CANON commission based on the original Bonebeak from the project Serina. Commissioned by MonsterArchivist "Serina: A Natural History of the World of Birds" belongs to Dylan Bajda

Future Animals may seem like a fresh name on the block, but these guys have been busy in the scene for awhile now. They produced Lukas Graham’s debut album and they worked on songs coming up from the likes of Aloe Blacc, Selena Gomez, and it-girl Julia Michaels. The duo bring plenty of soulful energy and exceptional vocals as they make their own debut on excellent single Ask For It. You’ll be asking for this one over and over again after it’s sunk its creamy simmering, fiery impassioned alt pop hooks deep into your heart. And you’ll likely join us in asking for a second single from the project, too.

Well after a bit of work the first group of creatures that I managed to renew is done, most of these are the biggest creatures of the book After Man, by Dougal Dixon, from which I could find measures at least... The changes included from the original sketches major details and proportions, as well coloration. As it is remarkable as well is the size too, since this new version of the new chart will be bigger, at least double its predecessor compared above (The original main size on the chart), I realized that details were lost enough in the scale I was working which was "2 cm=1 m" so I decided to increase it to "4 cm=1 m", giving me a better quality to add detail, but of course with this may come that for good or bad when I finish the new chart this will probably be monstrously giant and heavy in comparison to its predecessor in terms of archive size... So, I was quite thoughtful about what was going to happen about the SE Giants project after several months of leave it "lethargic" one its development since a year ago I kept it in a hiatus to review and update several creatures, specially planning on doing the Alien size chart that was going to be a side chart for being exaggeratedly big (I blame Darwin IV for that), and more stuff... but I have been considering the quality and accuracy in the design of several and how I would have to modify them, since several I did as quick sketches when I was starting with the project, eventually forced me to have to erase and sketch with pencils again and again until have something more or less similar to the organism that I wanted to represent, and actually put a bit of tediousness to correct details since I had to draw, erase, draw, scan, and modifying it with a bit of digital photoshop, in some cases leaving the final result dirty and deformed, or without enough details. However I found a much more appropriate way to modify the sketches in case of not coming out with the proportions or the form, now that I have been practicing with digital sketch, giving me better control and detail. So my new plan for the new charts is start from 0, which gives me more libertie that draw the original ones as I can change them with control and avoid forget one or many, as well and probably use some of the already painted edited forms that can fit well, such as the Titan posthuman as well others. For the moment I leave an example of what I've archieved with digital sketch then painted, at least the beginning for the new version that will come one of these days (I hope this year for sure...), the scale of course is not going to be for the main chart, this scale is planned for the "giants" that couldnt be noticeable in the larger chart. The Cheekpuncher (Angulospinus dismembrognata) is a bizarre deep water fish that lives in the darkness of the future oceans dozens of millions of yeas after our era, these evolved an extendable jaw convergent to the dragonfish that allowed them to open their mouth in a way that could engulf prey, however, their jaws would derive considerably in the following million years, causing much of the back of the jaw being the whole low jaw, the premaxillar and the maxillar would become detached from the main body, becoming articulated just at the front and only connected by a thick muscle from the quadrate, eventually making the original mouth atrophied and being no longer useful for food intake, instead it was modified to act as a kind of forceful appendage capable of generating enough force kinetica to break the exoskeleton of prey as arthropods. although it does not already have a functional first jaw, these are still able to consume food thanks to a second jaw that is behind the first one.

Concept of a lineage of derived oligochaeta annelid called the Hoplopictua that colonized a terraformed world filled of different types of fauna and flora, however the conditions of the planet's magnetic field caused the deterioration of the biosphere leaving the worms as the last land animal survivors, after hundreds of millions of years the habitable conditions returned to stable levels enough for the terrestrial organic life to exist, but limited by the constant radiation. From there emerged new ecosystems, more resistant to radiation, but in a fairly small size, being the largest terrestrial creatures no larger than 50 cm in length and dominated by different kind of flora not talled that a human leg, but still extending though thousands of square kilometers. The Hoplopictua are probably the most earth-convergent clade that can be found in this radiated world, having convergently evolved with an arthropod/insect-like form, with a chitin exoskeleton covered with a metallic or reflective coloration which allows them to better withstand the constant radiation, several compound eyes aligned vertically around the front and divided into different segments and with different positions depending of the clade, variable body segmentation, with different number of limbs and immense variety of mouthparts and jaws. There are Flying forms (left) which have fleshy wings derived from cilia and parts of the folds of the segments being not larger than a bee; Long detritivorous forms (Center) with small moutparts similar to feather dusters that allow them to dig into the ground, and some Predatory forms (Right) with long and sharp mouthparts.
