crap i definitely have followers who don’t know who tide is

long story short: tide is from the same blood as the tidelord, one of a Lot so he’s not exactly special in that sense. that basically just makes him a ‘noble’ in the spiral keep (his home) and grants him the typical water future vision. his job is to witness ‘bad end’s essentially, doomed futures, and to prevent them (which can be anything from making sure joe takes a right instead of a left to taking somebody out before they create calamity. that sorta thing).

he hated his job, he ran away, he got caught, he slacked off and went into hiding. he got married, his wife died, he gave his actual literal heart to a necromancer to devoid himself of emotion and lessen his pain, and now he lives in clan aster as aster’s favorite right hand man! they’re equally emotionless lol

in his new state he goes by his birth name, caspian, which i never call him bc he’s tide in my heart
