The odd job request- part 1
Manga: fairy tail summary: lucy, natsu, erza, levy, gajeel, gray, jellal and juvia get caught in a spell that obviously gets cheesy… enjoy! ____ ____ “Lucy! Happy! Let’s go get a job!” “Yeah!”
Wrong words… if Natsu, Lucy and Happy knew what would happen next, i think they wouldn’t have said those words…
The little group was looking over for jobs but got dissappointed, Lucy needed to pay her rent and none of the requests had a sufficient amount to cover it.
“Whyyy? I don’t get it… there is always at least one!” “It’s okay Lucy, we can-”
Bang went the heavy guild doors. Everyone stopped and stared at the shady short figure that moved gracefully throughout the guild floor towards Makarov. Mirajane nicely interjected and told her that she was responsible of all communications. The person signaled Mirajane to stoop down so that he? she? could tell her in the ear what was his or her business with Fairy Tail. She nodded a few times and smiled to the person and thanked him or her for the paper he she was handing over. The shady short figure swiftly walked out of the guild, not revealing anything about him or herself.
“Odd…"whispered Natsu. "Natsuuu, what’s up?” Asked Happy. “Huh? Oh nothing! Let’s go check what that person wanted!”
All three didn’t need to go far away from the board since Mira was walking towards it, smiling, holding the paper that the figure gave her.
“It was a request? Oh let’s see!” Exclaimed Happy.
Lucy looked over at Natsu and frowned, he seemed bothered by something. She told herself she would ask him about it at home later on.
They all looked over Mira’s shoulder as she stuck the sheet of paper on the board. All of their jaws fell off.
“What is this request?? It’s very detailed and specific on WHO must go but very vague about what it’s about…” stated Lucy while frowning. “What is it Lu-chan? Asked Levy. Maybe i can help?”
All four of them looked over and started to think.
“‘Water turning to ice, the fire of a star shining stronger, words inscribed on iron and the knight working with the holy, all shall answer to the call of the waves. The hooded shall recieve them on the crescent moon and lead them to the diamond. Overcome them and unite. Reward around 12000000 jewels.’” Read aloud Levy.
She knew, Lucy knew, even Natsu knew who was going. They all looked at each other and understood that the team was set. Natsu ripped off the paper from the board and stared waving it high up in the air.
“Mira! We are going to take up this request!” He said with a huge grin. “Alright then!” Returned Mira with a sweet smile. “Alright guys! Let’s do this! First step figure out who is going! Hmmmmm…” “Natsu… said Lucy, how about you just let Levy and I do this?” “Hm? Okay Luce!”
Levy and Lucy sat at a table and looked at the paper. “This is just so obvious it’s scary…” started off Lucy. “I know Lu-chan… either way, let’s start. So "water turning to ice” refers to Juvia and Gray.“ ”“Fire of a star” refers to Natsu and I…“ ”“Words inscribed on iron” Gajeel and I.“ ”“Knight working with the holy” probably Erza and… Jellal?!?“
As if on cue, Erza sat at their table, surprising Lucy and Levy.
"Quiet. I know about this, Jellal was visited by the hooded person a few days ago and he is now here in Magnolia. He knows about it and is willing to do it.” “Well… it’s settled then… could you go tell him that we are leaving tomorrow first thing in the morning? Is it fine with you Levy?"asked Lucy. "Yep!” “Alright then, i’ll go tell him.” “Thank you Erza.” They both said. “Let’s go warn the others ok?” “Alright Levy. Tomorrow morning at the guild at 6:30?” “I think it’ll be perfect.” “Alright see you tomorrow morning Levy-chan!” “See you!”
Later that evening Lucy returned home and as she expected, she found Natsu and Happy in her room… again…
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY ROOM AGAIN?!?”
Hey… she still does that even if she knew about it… i mean it still bothers her…
“Hey Lucy! What’s up?” “Eeeergh…. anyways. Natsu, you are needed for the job you know that right?” “Ok!” “Natsu… when that person earlier passed, you seemed a bit off… is everything ok?”
He plunged back into his thoughts… she knew something was up.
“That person… had no scent.” “What?” “I asked Gajeel and Wendy too… they both agreed…” “I guess it just adds to the mystery surrounding him or her…”
