Amphibia Headcanon

I don’t know if anyone’s pointed this out already, but I caught sight of something interesting.

Take a look at the back ground of the title page. On the far right, we see a massive frog monster. If I had to wager a guess, I have to say it’s this looker right here:

Now look to the left. There are three figures, all obscured by the A. However, if you look closer, we can see a girl that looks quite a bit like Marci, the oriental girl we haven’t seen outside of photos or flashbacks.

Then there’s girl number two, obscured by the Disney Symbol. I don’t know about you, but that looks ALOT like our girl Anne

The third figure is complete obscured, so you can only make out the legs, but I’ll bet you that she looks just like Sasha, the girl currently in the hands of Big Bad Frog

Now, we know the girls were brought to Amphibia via magic unknown object in the frog box, but it’s becoming clear to me that this was not on accident. They are supposed to be here, no doubt to fulfill some sort of prophecy to defeat Big Bad Frog. He knows about the prophecy, hence him capturing Sasha and demanding information on Anne and Marci. I’m not sure where Marci ended up yet, but I’m certain that these three friends will be reunited, and when they do, it’s gonna be epic

Future Heroes of Amphibia

Due to the worthlessness of my selfies and self-portraits I have elected to bring something different with this blackout day, some of my black characters from some of my story ideas

First set we have The League of Heroes. From left to right we have Cain Wilder The Canine who is a reserved character and a reserve member in the event something happens to his younger sister, Amelia The Lioness who is a rebellious kickass LoH mainstay with the ability to shift her features into any animal she’s previously touched. And finally we have Benjamin Sturifu The YinYang Ninja, a wise beyond his years kid that takes himself way too seriously.

Next we have the cast of my story Controlers about a group of element bending kids who are trapped in our universe and trying to get home and fighting the guy who got them there in the first place. We have Brock the intellectual poetic and wise Earth Controler and Iceac the arrogant self-aggrandizing and childish Ice Controler.

And finally we have Future Heroes, a League of Heroes spin off. We have James Newman, TechnoBro, an excitable geeky supernerd inventor who is a technopath and has the ability of intuitive aptitude. And behind him is Lakeisha Evans, Scaler, a hippie who can be kind of awkward when it comes to superheroing who can change her size and density.

I was going to make Future Heroes and Heroes UNITED on separate posts but there weren’t enough of them (that I have canonically decided on) that are LGBTQIA to go around for me to justify that. Partly becuase Heroes UNITED is huge and also because I haven’t designed the agender Ubermensch and the genderqueer Dr. Madd Vibe yet.

Dammit I should have included Mz. Maestro. Oh well, maybe when I’m less tired.

Anyhow, more about these ones under the cut

So first we have the Future Heroes members, Mark and Paul Hershman, aka Marco Polo the Teleport Twins. As stated Paul is the gay one here.

Paul and Mark are a pair of mean spirited pranksters, they laugh at others and like tripping people up or confusing them, and their inherent ability to teleport makes it easier for them to mess with people. Paul is a little taller, a touch thinner, and while he’s definitely a schemer like his brother, he’s more likely to follow Marco’s lead than start anything himself. Marco is stockier and sportier and definitely takes point on pranks and schemes, though he does not read as much as Paul does but the two often make up for one few weaknesses the other has. And they don’t think they have many weaknesses.

Now we move on to Heroes UNITED, the UN-based international superhero organization

So let’s start on the right with the trans Justin Time

Justin has the power of clairvoyance. When he makes a mental connection with someone from a distance he can perceive the entire area in sight and sound. Justin Time is not his given name, but Justin adopted the surname Time based on the town he grew up when he family moved from Greece to Norway. Justin is a little stern and self-serious but considering that he chose that entire ensemble himself with no prompting or need he is not as straight-faced as everyone thinks he is. His primary concern is the safety of others, especially that of his more reckless cousin, Nick.

And now we have Paul Bonaparte, the gay Beanie Boy.

Make no mistake, Paul is an adult but Beanie Boy has so much more added alliterative appeal. This French-Canadian joker is a charming charismatic entrepreneur and the life of any party. He likes being silly, and that silliness almost got him rejected from joining Heroes UNITED when he started off his interview with the no-nonsense Mr. Fixit with a not too great joke. Paul is very attached to his lucky propeller Beanie and it’s instrumental to his power. Paul can convert energy from one form to another through him and the propeller spinning indicates his power working and the release of excess energy as he quickly redirects the power.
