Did You Know? Your Kids Will Love Your Facebook Timeline
Seriously, I didn't want to write more about this Timeline for now, but this idea hit me hard in brain. So here we go.
As I and others have said earlier that Facebook timeline is all about stories and to touch people (your audience) emotionally. Here is what I was thinking today, other than me, who'll be me most passionate about my story. Answer came in seconds, "my kids."
Yes I love(d) the time when my father and/or mother tell me beautiful memories of their early life. And I know you do the same. Being human, my and yours kids are going to do the same.
Why stories are taught to us at early age? Simple answer is, this is one of the best things we love to do at that age.
So very strong are chances that, our story with real photos, videos, text and apps are going to be very interesting for the upcoming generation. Oh my I feel so good about this, even I'm not yet married. :)
I'm also sure what we listen on YouTube, or do on Facebook will stay for very long (because of cloud computing), even after we are dead. May be, Surely Facebook and YouTube etc will not be same at all, but what we'll leave, will be there.
In fact, my Facebook timeline will might be my kid's homework at his (home-kind-of) school. Teacher will say, go and write a summary of how your father network with people across the word in that time (even when there were very few tools available then what we have today).
write a summary of, why your mother was a little monster (of lady-gaga).
learn dance on one of the songs, which your father used to listen a lot.
your father was a cook, what kind of videos he used to see?
And our kids will comment like this:
I think father was trying to impress this Nina, and he accidentally became friend of ‘mom’ and now we are here.
I can’t imagine, mom was commenting on every update of Justin Bieber’s boring updates.
Hey look at this weird video of Did You Know Web 2.0? video, and see this comments full of LOL, and hehe. I ain’t like this.
If I would be at mother’s place, I would have knoched this spammer in two reply.
Oh my, father was so dumb.
Oh so here we started (comments on when I and her mother become friend on Facebook)
I wish we would be with him on that sad day.
Hey Da (future word, which will be used for dad), it is cool you were Liking and non-stop commenting on mum’s (future word for mom? tell me) class mates.
This must be crazy Tom (younger bro), oh my.. Parents were so happy, and he just sucks now. LOL.. Let’s tag Tom here :) (comment on Father and Mother are expecting a child in January)
Oh my.. Auntie Katie used to be same spamy, as she is now.
So this is just to give you an idea, of what they'll be doing with what we are doing now. :)
I also believe our Timeline can be used by
security agencies like police, in case if something wrong happen to us. I really hope it doesn't happen to you.
our grandparents, and our fans after 100s of years we are gone.
digital media researchers.
This is it for now. :) Stay in touch with this blog for upcoming cool posts.
Love your life, and live YOUR life.
PS. I encourage you to re-post it, even If you're TC, Mashable or TNW. HUG!
