I know the revival's barely entering season 2, and I'm fine if the series ended with a Creddie wedding...

But if they ever did a "Carly & Freddie having a kid" storyline after that 😭 Millicent would be half jealous/half preparing to be an older sibling, Spencer/Harper fighting over to be the best uncle/aunt, and how these two would handle those 9 months. Plus, Nathan's a dad in real life so he has the experience pretty much.

It's not just me, though, right?

Rayne returned home from training hours later and Sarah nervously waited for him. After she had been pacing for half an hour in the hallway, Jade took her by the arm and led her to the couch. "Let's watch some TV, you're making me nervous."

"Hello Jade, hello Beautiful, I'm home!" Rayne shouted jokingly when he closed the front door behind him. He joined the girls on the couch, planted a gentle kiss on Sarah's cheek. "Feeling better? Did you have to go to the doctor? I've been worried about you," he asked her, not jokingly this time. Sarah nodded: "Yeah, feeling better..." She ignored Jade's elbow in her side.

Rayne (sighing with relief, lovingly rubbing her upper leg): "That's good. Really good. I'll check my stuff better from now on, promise." (moving his focus to the tv) "What show are you watching?"

Sarah (feeling Jade's elbow again in her side): "I will have to see a doctor, though."

Jade (rising to her feet): "I'll leave you two to talk, call me if you need me..."

Rayne (confused): "Doctor? Talk? Am I missing something? Are you not ok then?"

Sarah (nervously fiddling with her fingers): "Yeah, a doctor... A gynaecologist, actually... I... uhm... You see... I took a test... Just to be sure... You know... uhm... And... Well, it wasn't what I expected, but... Yeah..."

Rayne (even more confused): "..."

Sarah (biting her lip, forcing herself to look at Rayne): "I..."

"I'm pregnant," she blurted out, her heart beating so fast and hard that she was sure Jade could hear it in her room. Her body had tensed up and without realising it, she was holding her breath.

Rayne looked at her for what it seemed like an eternity, processing the words she had just spoken. For a while, it seemed like he was staring right through her, at an imaginary horizon. "Pregnant," he repeated her softly. "Are you sure? How?"

Sarah looked down, afraid of what he could say next. "I took 3 tests to be sure... I don't know how, we were always careful," she tried to explain. "I understand if you... I can do it alone..."

Rayne moved closer to her. "Hey, you're not doing anything alone," he said softly. Sarah looked up to see a faint smile on his lips and a soft gaze in his eyes. "But you're Noncommittal..." she muttered.

"I never knew my dad. I don't want this kid to not know theirs. And yeah, I'm hella scared... But we'll figure it out somehow, ok?"

Sarah nodded, barely containing the happy tears she felt prickling in her eyes and kissed him.
