So again, it has been a while eversince I last posted something. So here are the news from the past few months:
I spent some time travelling around after my graduation. First of all to Milan with my bachelor partner Lena, Poland and Mallorca with my family and later on Orleans and Paris to see my boyfriend. (Photos are still to come!)
After I came back I spent some time figuring out what I am going to do next. I had been applying for master’s programs but did not get a spot for Winter so I decided to try that again the following year.
Also I started learning French in August. I did not have a teacher but I was doing everything with Duolingo. That means I am by now quite okay with reading but talking is still a mess.
I figured I would have to do an internship to gain some practical experience until I can join a master’s program. In the meantime I could take some French lessons. So why not connect both and go do an internship in Paris?
I wrote a lot of applications fearing I would not have a chance due to the fact that I am not a fluent French speaker – but I was lucky. I super quickly got an interview at Le Bureau des Affaires Graphiques and it just clicked.
Until the start of my internship in January I was taking care of stuff that you never take care of. Uploading projects, throwing out stuff, cleaning up the mess on your hard drive and applying for awards.
Lucky us! Lena and I received the Future Award in the Mobility category in November! We are very proud that our project was such a success.
So now I am finally sitting in Paris, I have just started my internship and I have to say: This is a big adventure! More details to come... ;)
