Okay, hear me out...
Jopen New Green Deal Organic IPA (Picked up at Ekoplaza Foodmarqt in Amsterdam). A 2 of 4. Faint notes of tropical fruit in the nose and primarily orange citrus. The body has enough bitterness that it’s clearly an IPA, but feels a bit thin, and only a small amount of light grain sweetness. Not bad, but I've had plenty better from many, including Jopen.
Amsterdam craftbeer blow my mind 😍 🇳🇱
Had a little beer tasting with some friends on beautiful sunny day in Göttingen. Good times.

RestingStormFace Yes, you read that correctly. This is, indeed, a Jasnah/Lopen fic. My brain demanded it, now it's your problem. You're welcome ☺️
Jasnah's 'Queenly Eyebrow of Doom' meets Lopen's unshakable grin. The resulting laughter changes everything.
Welcome to the strangely perfect and oddly compelling world of Jopen, the Stormlight rare-pair nobody asked for, but everybody needs.

Now, please, let us welcome to the collective Stormlight fandom, my newborn ship, Jopen! Forget 'rare-pair', this is a complete and utter 'wtf-pair'. Enjoy the unprecedented yet undeniable chemistry of Jasnah Kholin and The Lopen.
Jopen’s Many-Faced Got Red-Wine-Barrel-Aged on tap at the brewery in Haarlem. A 4 of 4. Lots of complexity and interesting qualities in this -- lots of various spice notes and some spiciness from the rye malt in the body, and the finish has some strong wood and faint red-wine qualities. Tons of complexity in both the nose and body, without a particularly dominant quality. The alcohol is clearly there, but doesn’t disrupt the rest.
Jopen Mooie Nel IPA on tap at the brewery in Haarlem. A 3 of 4. Smells mostly of orange and some resinous notes. The body tastes much stronger than it is with quite a bit of bready malty sweetness that gets cut mid-body by a firm, resinous bitterness.
