I'd love to see this person actually have kids, they would have the happiest, messiest life ever, and wouldn't give a flying fuck 🤣 . . . . . #futuremoms #parentswithoutkids #kidsasparents #greatidea #letsgetanotherdog #icecream #puppies #cantsayno #momlife #parentsbelike #yyj #victoriabc #vancouverislandmoms #vancouverisland #westcoastmom #mommyblogger #momblog https://www.instagram.com/p/B2GTb7ogEO8/?igshid=rrehpnzds437
When Life Gives You a Bump
So for a while I've been pregnant. Before I was a pretty funny person and had some humor with life advise, but now there is a tiny munchie machine in my belly that's made life a little funnier.
My pregnancy wasn't planned. As John Lennon said, "Life is what's happening while you're busy making plans." Cody, my significant other, and I were a little shocked at first. But it couldn't have been the biggest surprise since sex is always the first step. Now we are geared into parent mood with our own style. Advise has poured in everywhere. From our parents, co-workers, college professors, grocery store clerks, and the old man that likes to drink boozes outside of the gas station.
Needless to say some of it we have ignored. Like that I shouldn't pick up more weight than a bucket of water. Or that one glass of wine will make me miscarry. And please don't get me started on every disease, disorder, behavioral problem, speech impediment, and the statistic that it could become a prostitute from now until death. Books scared the shit out of me. It was almost like they wanted me to forget what female humans have been doing for thousands of years and listen to the "experts." Doctors, midwifes, mothers of twelve. They were all suppose to know more about what was happening to me when they had no idea of what kind of person I was. Yes this is what my body was made for, but it is also my body, not theirs.
All I have to say is, if your pregnant just breathe. Your body knows what its doing (throwing up everywhere...) and soon you will too. Use common sense. Hopefully you have it. If not, you'll figure it out soon enough.
