Once again, we are joining our friends at @sustainable_duo for #FuturisticFebruary! To join in on the challenge, collect all of your trash for the whole month of February. Yep, don’t throw it away! Instead, let it be a way to visualize the trash accumulated in a month time-span. This brings awareness to your personal consumption, encouraging mindfulness of how you can reduce your footprint! . This campaign was initiated by our past GIVE volunteer @carly_bergman when she returned from her trip to Nicaragua with us in 2017. Motivated by the trash seen on the beaches & massive land erosion from rising sea levels, it paved a journey for her to hold more accountability for daily lifestyle choices. When Carly got home, she created a zero-waste, low-impact lifestyle, while also encouraging others to join along. .
