Bump in the Streets || Ratio&Mizuki

Today was his day off from work and he and Birthday didn't have any jobs from Hamatora to take care of. So, he decided to clean out his apartment. He didn't get far before Birthday showed up in his house, the doctor regretted ever giving the other his key, claiming to want to help, but just as Ratio figured, not even ten minutes in he was already gone.

Though he wasn't all that bothered by it, it was easier to clean without his friend making a mess to counter any cleaning he did. He finished at a decent time, though by the end he found a lot of junk he was pretty sure wasn't his. It ranged from a broken toy plane to a magazine he would rather burn than be seen with. Actually, burning the magazine was a good idea and he did just that before he placed all the random items into an empty box. These were probably all Birthday's and since he didn't want them cluttering his own home, he planned to just drop them off in the orange head's house.

Birthday's place wasn't that far so Ratio decided to just walk instead of taking his car. However, he wasn't even half way to his destination before he bumped into someone, the box falling out of his grasp and items falling out of it. He managed to catch his balance so he didn't end up falling, but he stared at the random items of children's toys, omamoris, dolls, old books that were probably never opened, and...oh...Ratio forgot to burn one of those magazines. He quickly bent to shove it back in the box along with anything else that was around it and hoped that no one saw it. He then coughed awkwardly and finally looked to see who he bumped into. It looked like the other was probably a few years younger than him. "Ah, sorry about that," He said and continued to place the fallen items back in the box.

High school is a chore. A big fucking chore. If she had to deal with Classical Japanese Literature one more time she'd throw her books straight out the window. Instead she finally closed her books for that class, grabbing a leisure book of pastry recipies. She needed to bake something to relieve stress when she got home, so why not something puffy or very sweet. "Creme brule...sweet roll...baumkuchen..."

Thank god libraries were the quiet places in the world. They're also good places to pass out on the book shelf.
