Oh Gods, what happened? First he was facing off against Garon, and now he’s... wandering in unfamiliar territory after leaving some sort of metal carriage. Has he been sent here, banished into what seems like a completely different world? Where were his brothers? He knows he rushed in front of them when the enemy struck, but... did he make it in time? Must he add Ryouma and Takumi to the list of those he’s lost?

The prince is so busy ruminating that he fails to watch where he’s going, and finds himself walking straight into someone’s back. “Ah, s-sorr— ” He begins, only for his jaw to drop upon realizing just who he had bumped into.

“Takumi!” He gasps, hands flying to his mouth. This couldn’t be the afterlife, could it? Has he really, truly failed, after everything? “Please—  please tell me you’re unharmed!”

An art museum!

An absolutely wonderful concept - an opportunity for people of all ages to take in creativity of the ages. Paintings, sculptures, sewing...well, it seemed one of the only things truly missing was the art of the theatrics! Surely, a museum would have that...right? It had to! Theatre was a staple of the creative arts!

While it seemed to be a room primarily for dancing, it seemed like very few people were actually doing that. Perhaps because it was still around mid-afternoon? Dancing for large events were best at night - that at least seemed to be a tradition across worlds.

This meant...the stage was set! Literally. No one was even on the stage, just a few instruments littered around. But the most prominent issue was, of course, what was a show without an audience? What was one actor without a partner?

"Hmm..." Owain crossed his arms and thought for a moment. Surely, there must be a way to invite people in to enjoy this art as well...perhaps he could speak with one of the hosts of this event to see if he could put on a show of sorts during the day? If they had paintings here from his world - because he had recognized that must - then surely they'd have scriptures from plays as well?

Oh well. That train of thought was easily re-directed when he noticed someone else enter the large ballroom. Someone he recognized, who he never thought he'd see again.

It’s been a while since the last time she set foot once again in Spirale ever since her ‘disappearance’ for around years. Kagero disregards the whole change of Cotes as the only thing that matters most is to meet a fellow Hoshidan. Especially those related with it. 

It’s better than to meet with Nohrians.

“Good day, Prince Takumi.” Her greeting was usually stern ever since she was serving on his brother’s side as she bows like how she normally do when Ryoma was around and stands after, yet something that bothers her a little.

“Are there any other people from Hoshido asides from you and me?” No idea why she asked but there might be others from their world could be hiding.

Although this initially started as an attempt to explore a ward other than his own, he’s been wandering aimlessly for what feels like hours now. The sun has set behind the skyscrapers, casting a purple shadow illuminated by the street lamps and Charmander’s tail ( who is focusing on it to make it a little brighter ). Leon sighs, taking off his hat and wiping his brow. Times like these he wishes he could read a map...

As he steps around a corner that he’s sure he’s walked around seventeen times by now, he crashes into someone. Startled, he staggers back slightly, while Charmander hops in front of him protectively. The lizard Pokemon lets out a low growl ( which, if he’s being honest, isn’t as intimidating as Charmander thinks it is, now that he’s little again ) and Leon shushes him. “No worries, yeah? Was an accident. Not lookin’ where I was goin’ ‘s all.” Leon rubs his chest and examines who he’d run into. “Sorry ‘bout that, mate. Are you alright? I didn’t hurt ya or anythin’, did I?”

    ❝ i’ll pass. ❞ he says whilst fixing his glasses, gaze averting from the food that is offered to him. apparently it’s a snack from the other’s homeland. normally azul would be interested in learning about different foods from different worlds and cultures ( aside from dreading how much calories he will be consuming ) however this time he finds himself hesitating. apparently a stand has been giving free samples of takoyaki, but upon learning the main ingredient the mer-octopus couldn’t help but to grow more pale.  ❝ by all means you can have them, i insist. ❞

"I'll spare you my reasoning and cut right to the point. I believe friendship is based on honesty, and with these two? I'm anything but truthful. They might call me a friend should you ask, and I do care about their well-being— but if anything, that's more of a reason why I should cut contact at the first given opportunity. Unfortunately, that's proving to be... difficult, with these two."

"I did try, somewhat, when it comes to Lynne, but she's a stubborn one; a simple goodbye doesn't work with her, and for numerous reasons, I'm not willing to go by the hard way. I suppose, in a way, I'm just hoping she'll heed my advice before the inevitable happens. She's getting tired, anyway— and who wouldn't?"

"And with Hop... that fella is going through some things. I don't believe he'd manage, should someone else abandon him right now. It wouldn't be much of an issue if we'd be mere acquaintances, but it appears he's put me a bit on a pedestal, here. I'm waiting for him to get more used to things, pretty much, before quietly backing off." ... a bit naive, perhaps, to believe it'd ever go smoothly.

This had to be some elaborate trick, or some kind of dream, or a test… there was no way Takumi would be here. He was… he was gone. Kamui swallows a lump in her throat at the sight of her younger brother. Perhaps she hadn’t processed his death as well as she thought she had. She still remembered his smile (so sad) when she’d seen him last in that dream, right before she’d--

She wishes she had Yato with her, or her dragonstone... Something familiar to ground her would be helpful right now, but all she had was that wooden sword, and she’d left it at her new home; carrying a weapon like that here seemed very conspicuous, and the last thing she wanted was people being wary of her. She focuses on the feeling of the ground beneath her (so empty of dragon veins, it’s almost unnerving) and takes slow, measured steps towards her brother.

“Takumi?” She says his name softly, cautiously. Perhaps he’s a figment of her imagination? Maybe if she addresses him he’ll disappear like dew in the morning sun, and he will be lost to her again. “Takumi, is that you?” she says again, louder this time, in spite of her fear.
