Lyrics
My mama was a tailor
She sewed my blue jeans
My papa was a rolling stone
He read between the seams Womb, Womb.
The 8th of September was like a dreamI came out
There was nothing to it
Until ma-ma-mamama
Found out what was to it
And let out the steam
Womb, Womb.
You see my mama told me
She cannot be know as the woman..
She cannot be known
As a woman to raise a - Hush.
But of course she wouldn’t say the word
Cause that’s not the fruit of a Christian
That’s not the fruit of a catholic Samaritan
Hush, Hush
We are the fruit,
Of the same womb
We are the fruit,
Of the same womb
We are the fruit,
Of the same.

we're super excited to announce that 'Period' has been chosen as part of the soundtrack for the French short film 'Johnny Johnny' ! You can also spot some of our DIY collages from our “Femmetastic Zine” ! "Johnny Johnny is a Johnny Halliday lookalike, it was inspired a bit by my relationship with my dad. I grew up with _ my dad who was a fan of Johnny _ , he was kind of the soundtrack of my teenage years. A trauma for me because my dad was a bus driver, he took me to school from the age of 5 until I was 15. He played Johnny Halliday on the road to school, all my friends called him Johnny.
