1942 – first Fw 190 in the hands of the Allies
On 23 June 1942, Armin Faber accidentally landed at RAF Pembrey with an intact Fw 190A-3, later MP499. It became the first Fw 190 that the Allies could thoroughly examine. In the fight with Faber, František Trejtnar was shot down.
