some black americans behavior towards africans and caribbean people is just insane ?? it reminds me so much of how a lot of french black people want us fwi ( french west indies aka martinique , guadeloupe & sx martin ) to recognize ourselves as africans but also tear us down every other day because in their eyes we aren’t black. as if all caribbean people are black / have black roots. this was proven a lot this year our culture is a massive melting pot of ethnicities and any other cultures.
but they listen to shatta , bouyon , caribbean trap ( kalash , meryl… when she was actually doing that lol ) , dembow , kompa , zouk ?? they consume our food ?? even date and marry our people whilst insulting us ??? that’s js fucking pissing me off. we could have done so many good things for the diaspora and we’re all having a massive beef bc we wanna who’s black or not ? ughh
