The new rookie group that just recently debuted sat next to you guys— and you were stuck in between two male idols, Han Bin and Ji-woong. You smile, wave, and hand out photocard after photocard. You’re trying to focus—trust me you really are but your thighs are pressed tight, and the vibrator buried inside you is all you can focus on.
Across the table, Mira, Zoey, and Rumi sat. Zoey sitting next to Ricky, Rumi next to Gyu-vi, and Mira next to Gun-wook— You don’t have to look at them to feel them. Especially when the vibration suddenly goes higher, just as Han Bin leans in a little too close to ask you about your favorite snack.
”Ah-“ You almost let out a whimper as you drop a pen.
“Oh,” He says with concern, picking up the pen you dropped. You just hoped he wouldn’t notice how flustered you looked. “Everything okay, noona?”
You nod, “Yes, I’m fine. My hand just cramped” You excused, cheeks flushed, legs squeezed so tight it aches. The vibrator pulses against your walls again, this time, faster. Damn it these girls would be the death of you. You wondered who had the remote, but you just knew they were passing it around each other like it was a piece of paper.
You’re wrecked by the time the fan sign ends. The moment you step through the door, Zoey grabs you by the wrist and pulls you into the bedroom. “Zoey—!” You squealed, and not even halfway in, Mira was already behind you, undressing your lower clothes, tugging down your underwear—with the vibrator still inside.
“Poor baby,” she murmurs against your shoulder, voice soft, fingers gentle. “You held on so well. Did they see how pretty you looked when we made you shake?”
You whimpered.
Rumi steps in, calm as ever, her gaze burning. She plucks the remote from her jacket pocket and clicks. The vibe goes from slow to rapidly brutal in half a second.
“Oh—” You drop to your knees.
“That’s better,” Mira purrs, thumb stroking your chin. “Open.”
You obey—mouth open, thighs trembling, hands clenching the carpet below you as she puts a gag around your mouth. You won’t be walking again any time soon, you knew that much
Zoey pulls your legs open wide and settles between them, tongue exploring your entire lower half. “Mh, Zoey—“ You moaned, the sound being muffled by the cloth over your mouth. Rumi kisses down your neck, ”We won’t stop until the only thought that comes to your mind is our names.”
You cry out when Mira presses her hand flat against your stomach, holding you down as the vibrator keeps vibrating so damn fast.
“Don’t cum yet,” Mira says. “You’ll wait until we say you can.”
“Mff—!” You whined in protest, the sound still muffled by the gag.
Zoey pulls back, her lips glistening with your essence, smirking. “You want to cum? Beg.”
Cruel. They were so cruel. You couldn’t talk with the cloth stopping you— let alone beg.
“You were clinging to those stupid boys earlier hm?” Mira says coldly, taking out the vibrator and replacing it with a finger instead. “But now you remember who you actually belong to.”
“Mh yours,” you gasp, “Only yours—please, please let me—!” you say despite knowing that they probably can’t hear you because it was all muffled.
The three of them. Around you. Inside you
Rumi takes the vibrator from Mira, and puts it against your clit, making you scream out loud. “Rumi— ngh”
They make you wait until you’re sobbing. Then they take turns letting you fall apart—over and over—until your voice is gone and your thighs are soaked and trembling, and your body is on fire and they know that you know that you were theirs.
After hours of .. torture, they finally let you rest. Covered with blankets like a burrito. Rumi kisses your temple. “Still want to flirt with boys?”
You shake your head weakly.
“Good girl,” Zoey hums.
Mira holds the vibrator and it’s remote up again with a soft, evil smile. “Don’t worry. We’ll keep this close.”
“Ugh, you’re the worst”
an. okay guys this sucks bye ALSO THIS REQUEST WAS ALMOST A MONTH AGO im sorry omfg this took so long
It was supposed to be the day everything changed, and while that’s not strictly incorrect, it’s hardly the heart-made-whole fluffy fanfiction that Sullyoon had authored in her mind. Sana was - still is - the girl from the TV. The woman from the posters, the music videos and the viral social media posts.
Your favourite idol’s favourite idol.
What she became for Sullyoon was comfort, laughter and a guiding hand. What she is now is, well, we’ll get to that.
It’s the hope that really did it. From the first day they met, crossing paths outside a practice room, where Sullyoon bent the full ninety to be met by Sana’s little dip of her head, partnered with her bright smile and greeting, that had her heartstrings tangled. They spoke in brief, barely an introduction, but it was enough.
Then they had her sit in, and Sullyoon danced until her feet grew sore, and Sana grinned and gave her a thumbs up, and in those brief moments, Sullyoon could never regret her career choice. When it was over, somewhere between Sana's muted appreciation and Sullyoon's gushing gratitude, Sana made an offer. Practice together, the two of them.
Sullyoon agreed, of course. She agreed to everything.
The warnings, the advice, the rumours. So what if a younger girl liked an older girl? So what if Sana was her senior? Sullyoon was - is - windswept.
So when the idea of coffee before practice came at Sana's suggestion, Sullyoon was up an hour earlier than usual. She had her hair in rollers, and she sat at her vanity. She tapped the brush across her skin and dotted the concealer. She took her time with everything. From curling her eyelashes to applying her lipstick, it was wholly methodical. She wanted to look good, but that was a given. It was more than that; she wanted to look like Sana's type.
She picked a simple outfit, skin-tight jeans, a cropped camisole and a light cardigan. It wasn’t the first choice, nor was it the second. In fact, it was around the fourth swap that Sullyoon looked at herself in the mirror and began to judge the woman staring back. It’s coffee. Just little beans ground down and brewed into a drink to start the day before practice. Practice that would inevitably require a change of clothes anyway, so why did this matter so much?
Sana - that’s why.
The coffee date (could Sullyoon call it that?) passed by all too quickly, but it opened the metaphorical door. No longer did they only talk about dancing and comebacks and vocal tones and aegyo and… - yeah, you get the picture - but they talked about each other. Favourite snacks, drinks, and places to visit. Sana would appease everything Sullyoon threw out.
That park that Sullyoon loved to visit? They met there the following Monday and walked around for a little while.
The movie that Sullyoon loved? Well, Sana didn’t watch it, but she read the reviews and pretended that she had.
The games that Sullyoon loved to play? Sana bought a switch. Yep, a switch, just to play with Sullyoon.
And look, Sana had absolutely no idea what she was doing. She followed Sullyoon around - once she finally understood the controls - and did everything she said she should do. By the end of the first day, Sana had a hole in the ground, and Sullyoon had a house. They didn’t get a lot of time outside of schedules, but they would play when they could. Sana’s hole in the ground got a little bit nicer as Sullyoon decorated it and built around it to keep it safe.
In the lamp-light-clashing-moonlight glow of her room, Sullyoon pondered it all. Sana took her where she wanted to go, bought her the things she wanted to own, read her favourite books and watched her favourite movies. Sana bought a switch just for her. All these gestures paled in comparison to the little things she noticed.
Like how Sana would accidentally brush her hand and then smile as if nothing happened, how she would make these little jokes that share just a little bit too much detail about her sex life, and how she would constantly invite Sullyoon over to spend the night.
Empty pizza boxes accompanied empty bottles. Flirty jokes accompanied Sullyoon falling head-over-heels. She was falling - faster and harder than anything had ever fallen. Barrelling towards a reality that had begun to form in her head, Sullyoon pictured the future. It would be tough, keeping the secret, but they could do it, Sullyoon was sure.
Sana had experience; Sullyoon would come to learn. Her relationships with her many friends in the industry, from Momo to Miyeon and everyone in between. Not that Sullyoon was jealous, no, not openly. That only reared its head on those nights alone in her room, pondering possibilities.
Then came the day everything changed. The casual-flirty jokes became not-so-casual-flirty jokes, and all of Sullyoon’s favourite things became tools of the evening. Her favourite snacks, drinks, movies, everything - all at once. The longing looks became long looks. Sana flicked a switch, and Sullyoon crumbled. Putty in her hands.
They slept together that night. Sana had all these things she liked to do, and Sullyoon had a body she wanted to do them all too. The kisses never seemed to end, from chaste to an outright dissolution of decorum. The touches trailed to the ends of Sullyoon’s world - all this caressing and grabbing and tugging and fuck -
Yeah, it was perfect. Sullyoon wept after it all. An emotional cooking pot boiled over in the post-coital serenity - in Sana’s arms. She confessed it all to her in that raw state: how she fell in love with her before she ever even met her. How the feelings only became cemented upon seeing that smile in real life, and how every single domino that fell following that had led her to this precipice.
And on that precipice, she stood. She stood still for a long time.
Sullyoon would load up her Minecraft world from time to time, build a little more around that hole, waiting for her to come back. She drank more coffee, wandered around the parks, and practised harder than ever before. Sana would show up again and invite her over. Food. Drinks. Great sex. Precipice. Waiting. Hope.
Sana’s phone would flash with Miyeon’s picture, or someone else’s, all the time. Things would go quiet. No dates. No movies. No feelings. Then she would return to do it all over again.
For Sana, it is a loop, and for Sullyoon, it is a spiral.
When that inevitable text arrives, it is so seemingly harmless - just a half-step away from an invitation to another night together. Another opportunity to touch the clouds, only to plummet back to earth. Falling in love - what a prescient turn of phrase.
cassie mckay who pretends she’s not affected by you, or the way you talk to patients like you truly see them, or the way your body brushes against her whenever you walk past each other in the hallways, knowing full well that she’s already thinking about what it’d feel like to actually have you pressed up against her, trapped between her body and the wall.
cassie mckay who hasn’t felt this way for anyone in so long, who hasn’t felt such carnal want or need ever since her late husband.
cassie mckay who can’t help but notice how good you are with her kid, harrison, treating him like he were your own, her mind already conjuring up ideas on why life would be like if he had you as his other mom, and also as her wife.
cassie mckay who thinks about the most vile thoughts whenever she sees you in your scrubs. part of her is glad that no one in the pitt could read minds, and that she still had some semblance of self preservation to never voice out any of her thoughts because she knows it’ll get her sent straight to hr. though she’s left wondering how exactly someone could look so tempting and so gorgeous in their work clothes.
cassie mckay who stutters and clams up when you tell her you know about what she feels, when you tell her she’s not as slick as she thinks she is.
“I don’t—“ she’d start off before catching a glimpse of your facial expression. clearly not buying whatever excuse she was about to throw at you. “it’s okay,” you’d reassure, placing a hand on her arm as you meet her gaze. “just want you to know that you don’t have to do it in secret anymore.”
was that right? did cassie hear you correctly? had years of working and worrying about her family with little to no rest finally catch up to her?
but then she sees you, looking up at her, eyes expectant and holding a glint of mischief, and cassie knows she’s already done for. most likely already was since the moment you two first interacted.
cassie mckay who starts off tense whenever you try to get frisky, tugging at her chain, trailing your fingers up and down her arm with an almost featherlight touch. she hasn’t been with anyone in a while, who could really blame her for freezing up?
cassie mckay who is quick to reciprocate, though. offering you to go out together for dinner after work, charming you up to the best of her abilities. It’s a bit awkward at first, sure, but to her surprise and relief, it works. how does she know? because you said yes to going back to her place, and were now trapped between her front door and her body as her she bites and sucks at your lower lip.
cassie mckay who doesn’t need much to start getting addicted to you. the sound of your voice was already something that she loved hearing, your taste being just as exquisite as she’d dreamed about, and your body warm like always.
“shh,” she mutters, feeling your breath hot and heavy against her lips. “he’s asleep. don’t wanna wake him up, do you?” you nod your head, gripping at her shirt and pulling her back in for another searing kiss.
cassie takes this as a moment to hike you up, hands on your thighs as she carries you over to the couch, pulling you down onto her lap. you gasp softly when you feel her undo the buttons of your shirt, cool air meeting your skin.
cassie mckay who always makes sure to check whether or not you want her to keep going, never wanting to put you in a position where you felt like you needed to give in. “Is this okay?” she’d ask whilst trailing her hands beneath your clothes, feeling the soft plane of your stomach and the curve of your tits beneath the pads of her fingers.
she makes works with your clothes, the sound of faint rustling, fabric being tossed aside carelessly onto the floor, and your bated breath mixing in a heady cocktail. “god, you’re so soft.” she’d mutter, cupping your breasts, her thumb grazing against your already hard nipples before taking one into her mouth and sucking.
you place one hand over your mouth, your other finding the back of her head, pulling her closer.
you do your best to stay quiet, even when one or two muffled moans escape from your lips, cassie appreciates your efforts nonetheless. her freehand trails down to your panties, pulled them aside as her fingers slide between your folds, testing at first. she pulls away from your tit with a small pop, instead focusing on your neck as she circles your clit.
“cass—“ you’d try to whisper, only for her to shush you once more. “shh, shh. i know. i’ll take care of you.”
cassie mckay who makes you see stars whenever she has her hand down your pants, pumping her fingers in and out of your slick cunt, and curling them just right to hit that sweet spot that she seemed to already be familiar with. her thumb circles your clit, adding onto the already devouring stimulation.
your head’s already feeling fuzzy, your hand aching as you keep it pressed firmly to your mouth, knuckles turning pale as she fucks you like she’d already done it before. cassie had thought about this moment for so long, so often, that she already feels like she had.
cassie mckay who makes you cum again right after your last, kissing at your cheeks, your forehead, then at your lips whenever you whimpered into her ear. she loves this, loves making you feel good, loves seeing you cum for her like she’s the only one who knows how to.
cassie mckay who insists you stay the night after, telling you that it’s late and that she doesn’t know how to feel about seeing you go home at this time of night. “you can stay,” she’d say in the most gentle tone you’d ever heard, her thumb caressing your cheek. “i want you to stay.”
cassie mckay who claims her role as the big spoon, but ends up being held in your arms instead of the other way around.
🐰 : I have no clue whether or not this is accurate to her character because I’m only on the third episode of season one, so please don’t burn me at the stake 🥹 ╱ she’s so everything, i kind of need her to wife me up

After much debate with your close girl friends, that you were on a trip into the big city with, they had practically dragged you to the long line of awaiting people to try out this silly ride. Each of their hands clasped tightly around your sweaty palms, forcing your feet to shuffle into your spot at the back of the line. It was a warm spring day, the sun beating down only to be combated by a pleasant breeze. So, of course, most would find themselves spending the day at the Wolmi Theme Park in South Korea. The three of you had already spent the majority of the day entertaining yourselves with other rides, though with yourself often choosing to opt out of riding many--given rollercoasters had a habit of making you queasy. Yet, after much convincing and deliberation, you had allowed them to take you on this ride. They had claimed that it wasn't that scary, and was oftentimes quite fun. But as you got into line and saw the ever-moving ride your stomach dropped and your face paled.
Laughter and screams echoed around as the current set of riders were being bounced up and down whilst the ride spun everyone in round in differing speeds. As you watched this, you couldn't help but feel the corn dogs you just had thirty-minutes prior rising their way through your innards.
While you stood there, mouth agape, your friends had busied themselves with calling their boyfriends back home in the countryside. Snapping you out of your scared daze, was a smooth laugh from beside--even smoother words following in pursuit.
"You look like you've just seen a ghost," a woman laughed from beside you, your eyes narrowing as they traveled up the body beside you in line. Taking notice of her skinny ripped black jeans, the loose tank top that had a bit of the side tucked into the waistband of her jeans, and a black leather jacket over her shoulders. Her face was adorned in few piercings: just one silver ring on her lip, the other a silver ring on her left nostril (a gem-incrusted sun on where the ring met the visible skin). Her hair was short, some strands of her black hair covering the right side of her head slightly. Her narrow features complimented her stylistic choices. And by all means: the woman was completely, and utterly gorgeous.
After a few minutes of silence, your eyes only widening upon seeing the pretty woman, she spoke up again. "Are you alright? Surely you haven't actually seen a ghost," she replied, her thin brows furrowing slightly as she stared at you--her head cocked to the side just a hair. She was concerned for your wellbeing. How cute.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine," you blinked, snapping out of your haze and returning your gaze to the still-moving ride--swallowing hard. "I just don't like rides like this," you added and nodded awkwardly. "Not really my thing."
The woman beside you nodded, letting out a quiet hum as her gaze follows yours up to the ride. "It's not that bad," she commented, letting out a quiet laugh. "Just make sure to hold on tight."
"What?" You asked, misunderstanding her words and her eyes widening slightly.
The woman laughed harder, shaking her head. "The bars, hold on tight to the bars," she corrected, tilting her head. "Or your friends."
You suddenly felt the presence of your two friends who had gotten off facetime with their partners, and were now standing beside you once more--staring at the taller woman with slightly furrowed brows. The woman just nodded once, before turning back around and facing the front of the line. Leaving you to suffer the teasing looks and questions from your friends for the remainder of the wait in line.
Eventually, after growing slightly impatient from standing still for so long, it was finally your group's turn to file onto the circular ride. The eager group of riders all excitedly piled on, sounds of annoyed groans coming from the people who were cut off and had to wait another round.
Your friends rushed to a spot, sitting on the seats and giggling excitedly. Their hands reached behind themselves to grab the plastic and metal bars--wrapping their arms around the slick material in hopes to stay (mostly) still throughout the ride.
You sat there awkwardly, trying to mimic your friend's actions but you found yourself struggling to keep yourself comfortable. You didn't realize the woman who was in front of you in line was sitting beside you until you felt her hands gently guiding your arms to wrap around the bars--her hand resting there for a moment and looking over you.
"Comfy?" She asked you, raising a brow slightly.
Your face, now red, moved up to meet her gaze--nodding awkwardly. "Yeah, thanks," you said, voice quiet, and pressing a small smile up as another bout of gratitude. Her dark eyes traveled over you for a second, smiling and giving a nod back. She moved to sit beside you, leaving the width of a person and a half between you two.
Unfortunately for your humility, the ride moderator had noticed the small interaction and so once the ride started slowly spinning--your face all but heated when you heard the moderator's loud voice call out your descriptor over the speakers. Little did you know the running internet joke that if the moderator called you out, you were done for.
"Are you two together?" The male moderator's voice called out, "you, tweed skirt and the h/c hair. And you, short black hair and the leather jacket," he described. Your heart all but dropped. Before you could reply, the woman next to you beat you to it:
"No, we aren't," she yelled, her voice loud over the mechanics of the machine and the loud sounds from around the theme park.
"Do you want to be?" The moderator called out, a hint over amusement carrying over in his voice.
You shook your head, laughing awkwardly. "No, no it's okay. I came here with my friends," you replied, brows furrowing in embarrassment--trying to ignore the giggles from your friends beside you.
"Ah, no, no, let me fix that," the moderator said, laughing, and your heart dropped from his mischievous tone.
Suddenly, the ride was tilted all the way to the left side and began bouncing slightly. Lifting you up and down from your seat, your sweaty hands barely holding onto the plastic bars as gravity tried to pull you to where the woman beside you was sitting. She seemed to keep her body planted firmly--hardly moving. The ups and downs got harsher, and before you knew it, one of your arms slipped from the bar and you fell slightly down to your left. You felt another leg wrap around yours--realizing it was the woman's, who was trying to keep you steady so you didn't fall.
You grunted as you moved to steady yourself back onto the seat, pulling your leg from hers and attempting to grab back onto the bars. Before you could succeed, another unexpected bump made your other arm slip--letting out a yelp as you stumbled off the seat and about to start rolling on the metal floor of the ride. You didn't go very far before you found your body ensnared by both the woman's legs--holding your torso tightly as to make sure you didn't fall anymore.
As the bumps continued, you felt one of her hands grab your arm and pull you up--setting you on her lap. Your face burned with embarrassment and awkwardness at the entire situation--wishing you hadn't even let your friends convince you to get on this stupid ride to begin with. Her legs entangled with yours, an arm wrapping around your waist and pressing your back tight against her front. Her fingers found purchase on your hip, pressing into the part tightly.
"Are you okay?" She asked, tilting her head so her mouth was right next to your ear, her voice quiet. God was her voice attractive.
You nodded, the consistent bumps making the two of you rise up from your seats occasionally--but your landings were cushioned by the woman's body beneath you. It was almost strangely nice. No. You shouldn't think like that. She was an entire stranger. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks," you replied, turning your head slightly--though not realizing how close your faces would be. You quickly turned your head back around forward--your cheeks the color of a tomato.
As the ride continued on, the moderator still continued to pick on the two of you, moving you two around. Even with the woman's firm grip on your body, you had somehow ended up turned around--your legs straddling her hips. Her jacket had been moved to wrap around your waist so no one could see how your skirt rid up, allowing some form of modesty. There were some other instances of other people flailing around and landing on others, however you could hardly pay any mind to the others on this ride given your situation. This continued on throughout the ride's duration, before eventually the machine came to a stop--the moderator thanking everyone, though still finding a way to insert a tease about the two women's interactions throughout the ride.
You shakily got off of the woman--pulling your skirt down and untying the jacket around your waist, holding it back out to her. "Um, thanks for this. And for making sure I don't fall," you muttered, looking down at your feet. When she took the jacket, you quickly took off and found your friends at the exit of the ride--trying to ignore the burning throughout your body as their incessant teases fueled your embarrassment.
Before you could get far, a female voice called out and you turned around--your eyes widening as the woman before approached, slightly out of breath from the small jog. Your friends looked at each other with raised brows, both backing away to leave you two to yourselves.
"Oh-- um, hi," you said, brows furrowing slightly. "Did you need something?"
"How long are you in Incheon for? Or do you live here?" She asked, her chest still rising up and down with rapid breaths. She almost sounded hopeful, and a bubbly filling filled your stomach. As if someone had opened a cage of butterflies between your ribcages.
You blinked, looking away from her for a moment. "No, I don't live here. Just visiting with my friends... but I'm not sure. A couple more days, at least. We didn't really have an end date. Why?" You asked, licking your lips slightly--and you watched as her eyes flickered to your slightly damp, pink lips for a moment before she looked back up at your eyes.
"Let me take you sight-seeing around the city, yeah?" She asked, despite her cool demeanor, she almost seemed nervous. "You don't have to, but it'd--"
"Sure," you cut her off, flashing an almost-nervous smile of your own. "I'd like that, my friends and I aren't really super knowledgeable around anyway. I'm sure they'd like it too."
Her face flickered with some unknown expression and she shook her head. "No, not them. Just you... and I," she said, sucking in a long breath.
"Oh," you breathed, your brows raising. "Yeah, my answer is still the same. I would like that," you answered, emphasizing the 'I' in your sentence. The woman nodded, any nervousness or tension immediately lifted from her demeanor.
"Good," she said, grinning. "Let me get your number," she said--pulling out her phone from her back pocket, opening it, and shoving it in your direction with the screen showing an empty contact form to fill out. You nodded, and took the phone to begin typing in some things in each slot. "I'm Se-mi, by the way," she added, her eyes watching you intently--studying every and all aspect of your face.
Once you finished, you looked back up at Se-mi and handed her phone. "Well... just give me a message, Se-mi. I should be free, well, if I can ever escape those two for a moment," she laughed, tilting her head back to where her friends stood--watching the two of you interact with large grins.
Se-mi nodded, watching your form retreat as you handed her phone back and went back to your friends who immediately began pestering you for information on your new 'hot date', as they called it. She looked back down at her phone, studying your name on the contact--trying to burn it into her memory.
"Y/n...," she said slowly, nodding as she enjoyed the feel of it on her tongue. Knowing full well she was going to be saying that name for a long time. Or, well, at least she hoped.
Who knew your friends dragging you onto a silly ride could lead to any of this.
request: so happy to hear ava was your fav thunderbolt she was mine too!! Would you be willing to write a oneshot about fem reader who also heard about Valentina’s plan and came to save Ava, meeting John and Yelena a little before Alexei.
Ava Starr x Fem!Reader no warnings apply
thunderbolts spoilers ahead... kinda want to do a part two later on in the movie with some more fluffy y/n and ava moments + interaction with the other thunderbolts, lmk what you think!!
Y/N never trusted Valentina, what was happening right now was only more timber for the fire in the list of reasons why she really needed to quit her job. For the past few months she had been working as her personal security guard, something Ava wasn't exactly overjoyed to learn but the pay was cushy and so far Valentina didn't seem to suspect their relationship. Or if she did she hadn't said anything, whether that was better or worse they were unsure.
That being said the jobs Y/N was given were nowhere near the level of Ava's, instead being stuck accompanying Valentina to events and looking overall intimidating, so when it came time for Valentina to clean her hands of evidence it was unsurprising that Y/N didn't make the list.
But as she raced up this stupid hill to the facility atop of it she had one thought on her mind, 'i really need to quit this job', if Valentina’s awful attitude wasn't enough then trying to kill her girlfriend certainly was. Mel had spilled the secret plan to Y/N, a guilt filled moment of clarity where the words came out hard and fast unaware of Y/N's connection to Ava, but the subsequent words fell on deaf ears as the blood rushed to Y/N's head as all she could think about was Ava. It had been easy to convince Mel to help her, she always seemed to be teetering on the fence of supporting Valentina so all she seemed to need was a push, the girl managing to give Y/N top level access to scan into the building Ava was sent to but other than that it was all in Y/N's hands, any more meddling from Mel would quickly be spotted and stopped by Valentina. As much as she thought of Valentina and her assistant as one in the same, here Y/N had to reconsider her biases... But maybe not right at this second. The facility quickly comes into view as Y/N reaches the top of the hill, opening the door with the building's biometric system and groaning quietly to herself as it opens only to reveal more doors. She couldn’t help but feel she didn’t have time for this, knowing the incinerator Ava had been led into would activate any moment.
Luckily the feeling was short lived as Ava phased through one of the doors with a panicked look on her face, jaw dropping once she spotted Y/N their speech overlapping in a frantic exclamation of “you’re here!” and “what are you doing here?!”
Y/N shakes her head grabbing Ava’s arms, giving her a slight shake, “Valentina set you up! I came here to get you,” she explains, eyes scanning over Ava to check her over for any injuries, easily distracted and unable to hold back rambling a little despite the urgency of the current situation, “God, you look so good in that new suit by the way, but we need to get out of here, i dont know when the others are getting here but—“
Ava cuts her off with a chuckle, endeared by Y/N’s ability to give out a compliment alongside attempting to save her life (even if she’s definitely seen Ava’s new suit before and has told her that every time she’s seen her in it),
“they’re already here,” Ava informs her, glancing back to the door she just phased through, “and we just figured out Valentina’s plan…” she adds with some reluctance not wanting to diminish Y/N’s efforts. It’s then that Ava’s face drops from the tender smile she always had plastered on in Y/N’s presence, replaced by an expression of realisation as she cursed under her breath suddenly breaking from Y/N’s hold to turn to the lock pad next to the door. Y/N raises a brow as Ava presses the buttons, letting out a frustrated growl as she’s met with a harsh ‘access denied’, given Ava’s history Y/N felt kind of proud that she had managed to work with the others she was set up against. Ava wasn’t quick to trust with her past, and while Y/N understood the trust was probably fleeting and completely situational, something about seeing her working with others made her chest swell regardless. She made a note to tell her as such later.
“Let me try,” Y/N offers, arm brushing against Ava’s as she moves to stand next to her, assuming Ava’s access was removed the moment she had entered to stop her from being able to escape, but Y/N’s should still be in full effect thanks to Mel. The door opens, revealing the others inside who look almost surprised to see they had actually been freed, and Ava’s arm nudges Y/N’s in a silent form of appreciation however the moment is fleeting as flames begin to descend in the opened up room causing an explosion that continued on into the room they currently stood in.
By all means Ava could temporarily phase to avoid the blow but instead Y/N feels Ava’s hands on her chest as she pushes her to the ground bodies pressed together to stay low as the explosion blew over them, Ava's body blocking most of the blow from Y/N in a protective hold. It didn’t take long for it to end, Ava pushing herself up still straddling Y/N and looking down at her with a concerned look as she made sure she was okay… Y/N couldn’t help but think she wouldn’t mind this position in another setting, and maybe she subconsciously leaned forward at first seeing Ava’s face hovering above hers but could you really blame her? Aware however that it was not the time for that she didn’t allow her mind to wander further, stopping herself before she and Ava actually kissed but not before Ava had noticed.
“…Hey,” Y/N breathes out, a ringing in her ears and a dull aching in her head as she definitely hit it on the floor going down (and may or may not be a little concussed), causing Ava to shake her head in amusement as she pulls herself up from the ground and offers Y/N a hand.
“Hey yourself,” she replies smoothly, a teasing tone on her tongue egged on by Y/N’s antics, it looks like she’s about to say something else as her mouth opens again only to be interrupted by a gruffer voice to the right of the two. Y/N doesn’t really catch what’s being said, the ringing from the loud explosion still persisting in her ears but she can tell it’s something along the lines of ‘who the fuck are you’ causing both her and Ava to quickly whip their heads round looking towards a man in some kind of captain america-esque costume, Ava's stance hardening as she side stepped in front of Y/N to block her from the mans view. It was then Y/N remembered her and Ava weren’t alone, noticing a shorter blonde woman and another man with darker hair on the other side of the room slowly getting up, clearly just recovering from being blown away when the explosion had gone off. With such an interesting combination of people she would definitely be asking Ava for more details later, and knew absolutely no insults towards the other mercenaries would be spared, but for now as she felt Ava's hand protectively reach for hers and give it a thankful squeeze she was glad she had come here— even if it seemed Ava had already been capable of saving herself.
Tonight, the library is quiet, not much sound to be heard other than the sound of pages turning, the subtle shift on a chair and the scratching of a pen that came from the sound of a person writing.
You sat silently beside her, watching as your girlfriend studied for an upcoming exam. An exam that was in 7 months. There's nothing wrong with that, right ? Shes just preparing for a great future...
But doing this everyday...? You haven't seen Juno take a single break other than sleeping for maximum of two hours and waking up at 5:00 am sharp to continue her studies.
You tried to get her to take a break even if it was just for 15 minutes, you were genuinely worried for your girlfriend. but all she said was, " Breaks don't bring out success, now do they, ( name ) ? "
You have known Juno ever since middle school. You knew your feelings for her were rooted deep when she shared her lunch with you for the first time. You couldn't help but look at her with awe that day. From there on out, your relationship blossomed as you had confessed to her 2 months after that... even despite her blunt and stoic nature you loved her, with all of your heart.
And you still love her of course yet, recently, it just feels as if she doesn't care anymore.
You swore that the last time she ever told you that she loved you was almost more than half a year ago. Whenever you do tell her about your love, you just hear her respond with, " same " or " likewise ".
You didn't want to sound like a spoiled brat or an attention seeker, but all you wanted to at least spend time with her, even if it was just 5 minutes. You stared at her, her brown hair falling in waves around her face, her blue eyes focused on her books with determination and her lovely dark skin illuminated under the dim light of the lamp. You looked back down to the palms of your hands.
So deep with your thoughts, you began to fidget with your pen, clicking it, slowly, unknowingly, making Juno feel more agitated and agitated by the second. Her focus broken by a little yet futile thing.
" Stop clicking that damn pen, its annoying. It just shows how stupid you are, emotionally and mentally. It just makes me wonder why I even got with you in the first place. " As those last words left her mouth, your expression dropped. You've heard harsher words from her, but this time, they stung so deep. Why would she say that ? Those words weren't real, right ? She was just joking, right ? Yeah, she was joking.
But to your dismay, the more you pondered on it, the more silence that followed after her remark, the more hurtful it became, the more difficult it became to face the reality if the fact that she had said that.
It was only after a few moments when Juno realized the harshness words that left her mouth, yet, she didn't to turn to apologize or mediate the situation. Why would she ? Stopping would only prove to stunt her success.
Tears welled up in your eyes. You couldn't bring yourself to look at her. You stood up abruptly, chair scraping against the wooden floor loudly as it was pushed back slightly. For the first time since you entered the library, she looked up at you, but her look wasn't with love like you had hoped.
" Juno... I can't do this anymore. Ever since a year ago, I've just become a useless add-on to you. If I'm stunting your success, maybe we shouldn't be together anymore. "
The brunette next to you sighed dramatically, she could already tell you were upset without having to see your face. If anything, to her, this was just another one of your little tantrums.
" My God. Im sorry. You're bringing so much attention here. Could you just be quiet for once ? Sit down. " she dropped her pen to her textbook, rubbing her forehead in a manner of frustration.
" Juno, you've been ignoring me like I'm nothing to you. its not just today it beem months now or maybe almost a year. Its not just me, your family too. You've been just over taken by studying as if it's your life...! "
Your voice dies out at the end, realizing in embarrassment how loud you were being in a library. Luckily, there was only one male sitting by another nearby table, when you took a singular glance at him, he quickly packed up his things and left, leaving you both in the heavy silence of the library.
" It's just... I'm gonna say this for the last time... if this can't work out then maybe we should just break up. "
You words sounded final, like you meant it. Juno didn't like that, not one bit. Yeah, right. As if you would break up with herYou were supposed to stay by her side no matter what, you promised her. You said you would keep that promise. You promised.
It's not like you could leave her anyway. You should've been grateful that you were her girlfriend anyway.
But it was too late. Juno finally let go of her breath that she didnt know she was holding. By the time she looked up, you were already gone. Slipped from her grasp like you were made of water.
She just watched as the girl she cared so deeply for, leave her as if everything they went through together was nothing. Did you actually not care about her the entire time ? We're you just pretending to love the entire time ?
Only then, did she realize,
she was the problem.
" Thank you so much, have a lovely day ! " The male said to you cheerfully, giving you a closed eye smile just as you nodded in his direction with a tired expression.
They day had been long, nothing like your boss shouting you around the office and forcing you to buy the entire office coffee with your own money, right ?
You stepped out into the night, the cold air brushing against your skin as you breathed in and out. It was winter time already, quite early this year, you hadn't spoken to Juno ever since second year of university. It's been what ? Five years now. Honestly, you don't regret breaking up with her. Where would you have been if you stayed in that relationship ?
You began walking back to your home, your boots making noise with each step you took. As expected, the streets are empty and quiet other than the occasional around from a stray cat and such.
Suddenly, you heard your phone begin to vibrate in your pocket, not loudly yet loud enough to for your ears to hear it.
You reach into your pocket to attempt to grabbit by its charm, unfortunately as you do, it falls out of your grasp and onto the cold ground. As you crouch down to get it, you notice the a pair of clean short black smart heels step up to you. Huh, they look familiar, don't they ?
Your eyes trail up the unknown person's body, moving up their legs, they were wearing a casual yet serious suit, female suit the looks of it but as your eyes got to their collar, you realized their state was disheveled and unkempt. Tie loosened, buttons on their blue shirt unbuttoned just before their cleavage.
Just like that, your eyes were locked in a competition with pair of striking ultramarine blue eyes that you've never known better.
Juno, stood infront of you. Her figure towering slightly above yours as she stared at you, eyebags under her eyes, her dark skin now slightly pale, her body was in a state of near exhaustion but immediately tensed as she fully processed that you stood infront of her.
Before you couldn't even get a single noise out from your mouth, the taller woman pulled you into an embrace, it wasn't warm of course but it was desperate. She held onto you as if you were on the verge of disappearance, her finger nails digging into the sudes of your hips as she gripped on. But it only because you disappeared the last time she saw you. You were just gone.
She began to speak softly, her voice barely above a whisper as it was hoarse from all crash of the emotions she was experiencing.
" ( name )... don't ever leave me again... please I'm sorry I— "
" Don't touch me. What the hell do you think you're doing...? " you push her off your body. She stumbled back slightly from your action of panick. Juno didn't expect to see you so angry, why were you so angry ? Shouldn't you be happy to see her ? You're still be her girlfriend, right ?
" Don't come here hugging me all of a sudden ! You lost the privilege to do that years when I confronted you about it... yet here we are. " you yelled at her, rubbing your forehead in frustration of the sudden situation.
" ( name ), my dear, my love, I'm am so remorse full for the way I acted before, I know I have no excuse for the way I treated you back then but I want to make it up to you, baby... " she pleaded, her voice of desperation almost pulled you in, but you resisted.
" We broke up for a reason, Juno, and it looks like you still are as ignorant as you used to be. " you said with malice in your voice, making your voice sound as final as did five years back. Your decision is final, nonetheless.
But Juno ? On her end, she could't let you go, not after shes finally found you after many years of being aparts. She knew it long ago that you and her were meant to be. A fate doomed to happen no matter what, no matter the universe, even if you were a fish and she was an ugly worm. ( name ) and Juno were supposed to be lovers.
Juno grabbed you back by the hem of your shirt, pulling you back against her, she was stronger than you, having actually trained her body for a while during these past 5 years. In her blazer pocket was a white cloth that she swiftly put up to your nose. You tried not to breathe it in but the shock of the moment caused you to to gasp, pulling in the infectants into your lungs.
Making sure you couldn't escape her grasp Juno held one of her arms around you waist, feeling you struggle against her chest and stomach like eels poured on by salt.
" Let me... go ! " you yelled weakly, attempting to get a passersbyers attention but Juno kept her composure and continued her act, not enjoying your painful cries for help. As the world around you started to dim around you, the last words you heard from her sent shivers down your spine.
" Now I'll give you all of the time of the world, darling. "
