YAY! it finally uploaded! Enjoy some silly animated moffs- one of my favorite critters besides fuzzy spiders! This project was inspired by fyeahcutemoths which I highly recommend following! I might upload a few different shots of the moth characters later.

I am tallying up your votes for favorite moths from yesterday's messages to fyeahcutemoths as well as the answers I received today. So far, I've got quite a few for Luna, Polyphemus, Death's-head, and Rosy Maple, as well as a number of votes for hawk and hummingbird moths in general. Thanks a lot! I'll keep taking responses up until I draw the last design for this project.

As for the charms themselves, I have a sort of two-fold plan. First, I am painting designs for acrylic printed charms. I have already completed the images for the Luna moth and the Rosy Maple moth! I am going to do a number of designs, then post them and see which are the favorites from the batch. I will then get the five top designs printed and make them available for sale in my shop for its re-opening!

The second part of the plan is more closely aligned to my hand-sculpted charms, though I'm debating moving to figurines instead as I suspect moth charms in my style may not stand up to the rigors a keychain is made to deal with. I don't want to give too much away about this part, so I'll just say there will be mass-produced AND handmade items based on your suggestions should all go well. And that's not even speaking of the flat art. :D

I just stumbled upon this Tumblr, called fyeahcutemoths.

MOTHS ARE NOT CUTE :< THEY ARE SCARY. But some moths on there are pretty cute, I must admit.

Now every itch I feel I will fear it's a moth.
