Be INLOVE with YOURSELF
In relationships we spend so much time trying to love someone else that we forget about the relationship we are having with ourselves. When asked "have you've ever been in love" the first thing you think of is another person. Rarely do you think of that time you fell in love with yourself.
Today I want you to think about when or if you have ever fallen in love with yourself. When was the first time you became really excited and really good with something you did that made you feel HAPPY or LOVED or IMPORTANT? When was the first time you can remember spending loads of time with yourself and ENJOYING IT?
Cultivating a loving, respectful relationship with yourself involves liking your own company and listening to your own thoughts. It involves being Honest with yourself, and Communicating with yourself. It involves doing fun things that you know you will like. It involves everything that falling in love with another person entails, only you are stronger, better, and more emotionally stable FOR YOURSELF…. you can't break up with YOU, so if you take the time to FALL IN LOVE with YOURSELF properly, you will be so happy you did. Finding love outside of you will not be as challenging in that you will be able to detect those that are not very good for you at a much fast rate. If the person your are sharing your life doesn't make you as happy as you make yourself, you will actually have a reference point now….You will no longer be ping-ponging from person to person; using someone's body for shelter for physical, mental or emotional support. You will teach yourself to become addicted to people that ALSO make you feel good about yourself.
It isn't always easy, but nothing that's worth it is.
Real True LOVE is always a reflection of how you feel about yourself first.
