“At home coffee shop”

The kitchen was covered in flour when Fyodor entered, his husband in the middle of the mess.
“…what in the Lords name have you done?” Fyodor blinked.
Ranpo grinned, “we’re opening a coffee shop and I’m making the cookies for it!”
Fyodor stared at Ranpo. “….i’ll make the tea and coffee for such an endeavor, I suppose.”
That was the plan, at least. But they didn’t make it past the next batch of cookies without Ranpo eating the cookies. (which Fyodor must note, they were impressively good, given there was not a cookbook in sight)
Fyodor only made one pot of tea before turning to help with the baking. Which was clearly much more important.
4 trays of cookies and one cake tin later, Aya came home from school. She entered the kitchen to see the large amounts of baked goods, “is something happening that I wasn’t told about?” She asked.
Fyodor was about to answer, but Ranpo was quicker (and louder), “we’re having a coffee shop!!! Do you want a cookie?”
Aya giggles, “yeah!!!”
And now there are three people in the kitchen. They’ll have cookies for weeks… maybe a bake stand isn’t a bad idea with this many baked goods…
That evening, Aya and Ranpo went down to the agency to share their baked goods, but they ate a good amount on the way.
Once inside Aya skipped over to kunikida with a bag of cookies.
“Kunikida!! Look!! Me and papa and dad made cookies! You can have some” she smiled brightly.
Kunikida crouched down to her level. “Oh you did? What type are these?” He asked the young girl.
“Cherry sugar cookies!” Aya answered.
“Well, thank you very much, Aya.” Kunikida took the cookies, stood up and ruffled the kids hair.
Aya skipped back to her father, who’d been talking to other agency members.
“You ready to go home, kid?” Ranpo asked. Aya nodded.
Meanwhile. Fyodor had just made the kitchen less disastrous. Sending aya and Ranpo to the agency had been a scheme to get them out of the house so he could clean. And it couldn’t have worked better. (Although, it’s not like Ranpo hadn’t known about the scheme)
Now… what to do with the rest of these baked goods.
