I'VE BEEN CALLING JEMMA LMD SINCE EPISODE 1!!! but then again I feel like fitz would KNOW that Jemma has been replaced, and the promo made it look quite clear that they were the two who needed to be switched, but then they can definitely be misleading... so yeah I think Fitz & Daisy are the ones who haven't been turned (she was absent from the LMDs hooked up) and the twist will be it being Jemma- and particularly her being the one going to strike fitz in that last shot? idk I could be wrong
i mean I hope I am wrong because i aM STRESSED
honestly, I’ve been going back and forth between who is the more likely “cliffhanger” as the LMD, and I’m stuck at equal odds between Fitz and Simmons!
I’d personally prefer it to be Fitz (since, good lord do I love Fitz, but the show has spent enough time focusing on his responses regarding everything about their relationship already - let this be Jemma’s season at long last). but then again, the show is always inclined to show Fitz’s suffering over Jemma’s (while making her suffer but not showing it, lol), so I think she’s the more likely candidate, but... AUGH. so many questions!

they tested her out in the framework, but fitz said "and I've mapped your brains entire response to the simulation", so perhaps not completely a brain scan as such... but just idk it felt like too much to be a throwaway? or I'm most likely reading into it too much but I have this sinking feeling because they like to torture fitzsimmons emotionally rather than physically and either way it's gonna break me lol!

I feel like it would be fitzsimmons because of the whole brain scan of Jemma's brain in episode 1? I refuse to believe it was a trivial point! and also her being a "top operative" as they keep reminding us of her clearance and how she's the boss... I don't know it's just not feeling very subtle? I would like to see more of Jemma's side of the relationship though- like you said very Fitz focuses! Ideal world would be neither of them though! D:

but yeah, I was thinking about her security clearance, too! there may be something that the Darkhold needs that Mace needs Jemma’s additional clearance for? idk I feel like there are solid arguments for it being either!

aw thank you! I mean, y’know, it’s not quite fixed, and I realized recently that it’s very easy to slip back into that mental state (which is, evidently, triggered by job hunting & making concrete life decisions. wheee). but I was telling the truth to Liz - I am doing better now than I was that last summer in LA. thank goodness. :-)
