This is short, and silly in a fun, gross kind of way. A unique look on Humphrey's situation, I think its a fun and silly headcanon. (Maybe that's why the head falls off so easily?)
Title: Snow Day Summary: For the prompt “Don’t you dare throw that snowba-, goddammit!”
From the moment Benji woke up and saw the thick sheet of snow that was covering the ground, he knew that today was the day.
Today would go down in history as the day he convinced badass super spy Ethan Hunt to have a snowball fight.
The pair were back in England visiting Benji’s brother over the christmas holidays and somehow, they had gotten lucky. The morning of christmas eve, snow had fallen and now, Benji was ushering Ethan out of the house, wrapped up to the point that he looked like the Michelin Man, and into the snow.
“Benji, what are we doing? Why are we even up at this time?” Ethan asked, watching Benji with fondness as he awkwardly wandered through the snow. “You usually hate me if we wake up before nine.”
“Yeah but look!” the younger man exclaimed, motioning to the snow. “Do you wanna build a snowman?”
“Good lord.” Ethan laughed. “I know you can sing, Benj, but does it have to be that song?”
“Come oooonnnnn!” Benji knew he was acting like a five year old but he did not care. Today was going to be fun if he had his way. As Benji began gathering up the snow to form the base of the snowman, Ethan sighed and shuffled over to him, bending down to help. Soon enough, they had the entire body of the snowman build and Benji clapped his gloved hands together.
“Ok, wanna see if you can find the stones? He needs eyes.”
“He doesn’t need eyes, Benji, he’s a snow-” He paused at the childish glare from his boyfriend and laughed. “Ok no, you’re right, he definitely needs eyes. Which I will go and find.”
Benji grinned as Ethan turned away to search for the stones, which Benji knew he would not find in snow this thick, but it gave him chance to get ready. Gathering as much snow as he could, he formed it into a cricket-ball sized clump and readied his arm. At that moment, Ethan turned to face him, ready to speak, and saw the weapon ready to be fired.
“Benji no.” he said, shaking his head. “Benji, don’t you dare throw that snowba-, goddammit!” The snowball hit him full force in the face, causing him to stumble backwards. He landed on his back in the snow, hearing Benji’s victiorious “Yes!” and he groaned. “Benjamin Dunn, you are evil.” He gathered up some of the surrounding snow as subtly as he could, glad that Benji was too busy celebrating the fact that he managed to get one up on Ethan to notice. Without warning, he hurled the snowball as fast as he could, catching his partner in the side of the head.
“Oh this means war, Agent Hunt.”
“Bring it on, Dunn.”
