pepperonyfic... a new chapter?
Hey pepperony fam! It's your OG pepperonyfic mod here (@effiestrinkets/georginahobart) just dropping in to say hello. I'm not really active in the fandom anymore (but I'll always love pepperony), and I think that the other pepperonyfic mods are the same.
Just wanted to make you all aware that that's why a lot of messages in our inbox have gone unanswered, which we apologise for, but unfortunately life gets in the way.
I'd love to keep this community going in some shape, even though I don't have the time to be a full time mod like I used to, bc this fandom truly is the loveliest group of people.
What do you think? I'm considering just publishing the messages even if I don't have an answer so that other pepperony fans can help reply if you know the answer to someone's question or have recs for them. How does that sound?

So this is some sort of update on Pepperony week. So it’s been a long year (Only 3 months in), 🫥 but I’ve had a few of “this wasn’t in my bingo card” situations happen in that time. 😵💫 So apologies on the lack of updates on my end. This has been at the back of my mind and I have not forgotten. I’m eager to get some new Pepperony fics out there again! I think I will be moving this to May (Tony Starks birthday month! 🥳) but I definitely want to get this going by June. Keeping sending theme ideas.
Do you know the fic where Pepper and Tony were at a gala and someone started talking to Pepper about extremis that it made her have an anxiety attack? iirc she was twisting both her engagement and wedding rings to cope. Tony was across the room and sensed that she wasn't feeling well, and so they left the gala after he got to her. They may or may not had Happy order them food at the end of the fic.

Hi! I added an update a few weeks ago to the Pepperony week post. Looking at some time in February or March.
So a few weeks ago someone inquired about having a Pepperony week type of event like it's been done in the past. Honestly, I had been thinking about it, but wasn't sure if anyone was interested until I received this anonymous message. My hope is to revive the Pepperony community just a little with some new fics. There have been only a few and far in between lately. Or anything that is tagged with our favorite couple does not feature them prominently, they're just a mention, the fic is about an entire different ship or it's all about Spidey (sorry Pete).
So for this post, I would like to ask those that would like to be involved, would they like to potentially have this kickoff early next year? It's just with the holidays coming up, I know a lot are busy with real life. A Christmas week would cool too, you would have all month to submit your week of fics or something like that. Any suggestions are appreciated.
Another thing, what themes/tropes are you interested in? Let me know and I can then try making a poll with some of the suggestions.

Could we pretty please make a Pepperony Week 2024 happen? Or anything that would bring in more new fics and revive old ones. I just love this ship so much and would love an opportunity to enrich the content and do something new for our wonderful community. Also, an exchange of current fic favorites would be great 😭🌹
Funny you should mention this. I’ve been toying with the idea of doing something like this. The lack of new Pepperony fic is just 🥲. Lately they get tagged in a fic that pretty much has nothing to do with them.

so the search bar has been driving me insane. i be searching for a fic i know is on your site, spelled correctly letter by letter, sometimes known by heart as well, and the search ends with no results found. later on i manage to find the fic either by accident or thorough digging, and sure enough, it’s still on your site, spelled identically. or sometimes searching for a tag will show only a few posts, ignoring MANY others with the same tag. is this happening to anyone else? big fan btw (if it wasn’t obvious) 🩷
Putting this out to see if anyone else has had this issue.
Thought about how fun it would be to dedicate a spot or a place for everyone to drop their most favorite fics, like an ultimate favorites collection, for the fans, by the fans. 🫶

I can’t find a fic I’ve loved coming back to over the years. I’m pretty sure it’s called Damaged Armor or something like that. Tony comes back from a mission all damaged and injured, and Pepper has had enough and can’t bear to look at him like that. However, after an argument, they get together for the first time. This must ring a bell 🤞🏻
