I appreciate the show's commitment to making G'Kar look like absolute lukewarm reheated garbage in the episodes immediately following the torture arc.

The redness around the eyes and the healing cuts on his mouth are an especially nice touch.

He genuinely looks like he feels like shit. I am fascinated how easy it is to forget that this is a guy wearing a latex mask and not his real face.

(Also appreciate G'Kar's absolute petty dedication to pretending Londo doesn't exist for the next several episodes, including when they're literally in the same room talking to the same people.)

the elevator scene with Londo and G'kar is so iconic because at first the viewer is like "oh, classic, the two enemies are now trapped in an elevator together. they're going to talk and work through their problems and then have to work together to escape. of course" and Londo thinks that too! but then G'Kar is like "No :) " and Londo is like "what do you mean 'no'??" and G'kar is like "I would actually rather for both of us to die :) " like no actually there will not be any reconciliation just because they are stuck together for hours. they hate each other enough to defy the trope. and that's so beautiful

Sorry for being... well over 30 years late, but now that I've finished Bablyon 5, I am happy to say it's the goddamn masterpeice that everyone said it was.

Also Susan Ivanova is a big fuckin lesbian and I shall be writing her kissing so many girls.

Also while Ivanova is my fav of the human characters in the show, my ACTUAL fav characters in the show are deftinerly Londo and G'kar. Just two absolutely wonderful characters played so damn well.
