Aw man, Gabela is that ship that I kinda tried to get into, but it just didn’t end up happening (it is a cute ship, but it ultimately did not click with my brain). I think it just comes down to my tastes and my interpretations of the characters. Personally, I find Carla hard to ship since she doesn’t get much screen time with other people her age. It is such wasted potential because we just did not get enough of her in the series, especially in late season 3. I wish we had gotten a scene between her capture and her redemption, as well as more of her post-redemption. I also think I’m not enough of a Gabe fan to completely understand his character, and that combined with Carla’s lack of screen time made this ship hard to picture.
