The movie Air Doll (2009) is quite good, Nozomi is very charming as a character, and in general I like stories about people navigating existence while having been originally created for someone else’s purposes
Gender bending your characters but keeping their personality the same can be a great exercise to figure out stuff about your character. Also it’s also interesting because you can get a more complete picture of how your character’s behavior really is gender-wise because you might be interpreting it primarily through the lens of their gender instead of objectively
E.g. a character who’s a man you’d describe as both highly masculine and highly feminine. But if he were a woman and acted the exact same, he’d probably be perceived as showing an outrageous level of masculinity but only the baseline expected level of femininity
Or a character who’s a woman who could be described as not especially feminine and somewhat masculine. But as a man, she could be seen as extremely feminine and inadequately masculine
You might find that a character of one gender you see as highly masculine/feminine is actually objectively less masculine/feminine than another character of another you’d only describe as moderately masculine/feminine, but you see them the way you see them because you’re first judging them based on the standards for their respective genders instead of comparing them to the same standard
Redemption arc not because you did something bad but because of the years you spent not doing something good
When the thing the character needs to be redeemed from is passivity >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
If you’re going to apologize for how you treated me in middle school, maybe you should specify what exactly you supposedly did because maybe consider the fact that I…. don’t remember what exactly you’re referring to. Lol
1st base: brutally murdering all those who threaten them & being embraced by them not in spite of but because of your inner darkness
2nd base: letting them beat you up for hours on end because they ought to learn to be the end of anyone who threatens them, and you are the greatest and most expendable means to them achieving that
3rd base: you admit to them that discomfort is a feeling you are capable of feeling
home run: you express to them, unprompted, a genuine desire that you have in service of yourself that you would like to achieve
Me making a oc : i gotta figure out how this one is being tortured

Humanization of Wormwood from Sofia the First.
Since it's been 10 years since he became Cedric's partner, I designed him as a sophisticated, mature man around his 50s-60s.
Inspired by Cedric's British accent, I dressed him in a sharp black tailcoat. He has that classic, nihilistic villainous smirk.
(I'm using a translator, so I apologize for any unnatural phrasing.)
A really old sketch that I’ll probably never finish 😔
Not "The Character did nothing wrong" or "The Character is irredeemably awful" but a secret third thing: The Character may display moments of deep love & compassion, may even have a strong sense of ethics, and may also be capable of brutal cruelty that is irreconcilable with those traits. The constant tension between the different sides of The Character's nature is exactly what makes them compelling, and attempting to reduce them down to simply "a terrible person" or "innocent & misunderstood" is missing the point of the questions a media with nuanced characters is asking you to consider
I have no memory of my mother. I never knew her.
The first trailer for Sofia the First: Royal Magic has been released by Disney! The show will premiere in May of 2026.
I woke up at 3AM (Japan) for Royal Magic news and it was so worth it

About a year ago I was writing a letter to myself (to be opened in a year’s time) apparently while playing the beginning of Karamelle, and I wrote, “the Old One is giving his speech… and got sucked into the void. Or something.”
This was my first playthrough so I knew almost nothing about Dasein at the time, so in retrospect, I think this was a pretty funny coincidence with my phrasing
