And so I stared at the tall, white, glittery being in front of me.
Even with the tentacle monster gone, it was not a reassuring sight. Especially since I now stared for a very long time and that dude still hasn’t said or done anything.
Well, then it was up to me, obviously, so I yelled at him: “LET ME GO HOME!”
And that… startled him. It startled him and he looked at me with big eyes and furrowed brows and it felt like kicking a puppy. Unfortunately, I was happily out for puppy-intestines if they bloody kidnap me: “NOW!”
He twitched again and looked at me, saying: „I am very sorry, I can not do that. You are our first contact with your sentient species on this planet”
It was still a little bit unnerving to hear that they are actually aliens.
“So?! Pick someone else. You brought me here against my will, you will bring me back”, there was no room for discussion. I didn’t want to discuss anything either.
“Ah, I’m afraid it is protocol to use the very first subject, I cannot change this”, he looked very apologetic.
Well, screw him: “Bring me home. Now”, it was a him-problem.
He blinked: “We… do come in peace, there is no harmful intend in our actions, we simply need to reaffirm-“
“I do NOT care. And… do you want to tell me kidnapping people is no harmful intent?! If that’s your definition of harmless, you got another thing coming!”, I pointed at him, still irritated that I could only bend down a little to be in his line of sight while he was sitting.
“It… it was what your media offered as a ways of contacting your kind. It was what seemed most appropria-“ I rolled my eyes: “SHUT UP, bring me home. Until then, I have nothing else to tell you, just bring me home”, and sat down, turning my back to him.
Staring into… the light. Good lord. I closed my eyes.
“Huh… ah… as you wish”, he said. And then there was silence.
Until a scratching sound appeared. And when I turned around, he had a boo and a pencil. And looked up at me and then… scratched and: “What are you doing?!”, I snatched at the book and met… no resistance in taking it.
There was a very rough sketch of me on the page. This… was not an angle he could have seen. Of me. Because it was me sitting and was looking upwards.
It was unnerving and… when I turned he had gotten another book from somewhere and I grabbed that one as well. There was a – better – sketch of my frown: “I did NOT allow you to draw me! I did not allow you to-“, I always shook with anger when he apparently pulled a third book from nowhere and opened it.
“WILL YOU STOP THAT?!”, when I grabbed at it this time, he pulled it just out of my reach.
“I only wanted to write down what you tell me, no drawing, promised!”, he looked hurt again
I grabbed the third one: “I gave you NO permission for ANY of that. Bring me home, bring me home and nothing else, no notes, no drawings, nothing. Just bring me home!”
And then sat on the bloody books, staring at him angrily.
He seemed at a loss.
Served him right. Bastard alien.
