I notice you color your eyebrows for a lot of your cosplays--is there a particular brand or technique that works best for you?

I usually use a white eyeliner pencil to white my brows out (I usually use a NYX jumbo crayon in white), comb it through, add a little more white on top, and then put on colored eyeshadow.

OMG I know exactly what you mean (I think) sometimes the light just hits his head weird and it looks like a cone with alien eyes and it’s like he’s a machine with no soul and I’m like “I have invited the devil into my home” but then like ten seconds later he’s in different light and I’m like “there’s the lil’ prince I know and love”

it is SOOOOOO ridiculous and having that promotion snatched away is pissing me off even more. plus my manager is such shit, she doesn’t like doing the hard stuff, like reprimanding people or firing people, so she just DOESN’T DO IT, which is a TERRIBLE quality to have in a manager. plus, she pulls the same kind of shit, like leaving early all the time without giving a reason.

honestly moving up under her is going to suck. I only want it because it’s better pay, better hours (FULL SHIFTS instead of these shitty half shifts!), and better for my resume. it’s definitely going to suck, but it’s something and I really hope it’s not worse then where I’m at now.

you know what though, whenever I get that key holder position, I’m not putting up with some of this shit that she lets slide. a week or two ago, when a coworker came in at the end of my shift, I started explaining what we were working on so she could finish it and she goes, “you can explain it to me if you want, but I’m not doing that.” excuse me? no. and last week, this newer girl showed up 15 minutes late, spent half of her shift disappearing into the back room to text on her phone, then, 20 minutes before the end of her shift, disappeared to the back again, where her buddy the full-time AM was on break, and wasn’t seen again until 5 minutes before her shift ended, when she came strolling out with her purse, and stood waiting by a busy register until it was time for her to clock out (or she tried to, until I told her to clock out on my register). no. that is not happening when I’m on duty. you will do your job, and if you don’t, you had better believe the manager will hear about it, fifty times over if need be. I don’t care if that makes me the bitch key holder, I’m not there to be nice or make friends. I’m there to work hard, and to take pride in that work, and that’s exactly what I will do.

I have been working in excess of 40 hours a week to cover the management shifts that were left open when she had quit suddenly without notice, plus trying to move my stuff out to my new pad. I'm sorry that I haven't been able to plan hangouts with you guys. I'm affected by time and distance. As soon as I get myself actually living at my new place I can willfully plan to drive out to see ya'll without feeling utterly guilty. You guys are more than a half hour away or so, see, and I feel more comfortable staying close to my area because I should be packing and moving furnature around. the other days I'm dog tired because they're 10 hour shift days.

A good news about it though is that with these excessive hours mean FAT CHECKS to BLOW on food when I do hang out with ya'll again.
