reaper makes it a point to disappear into a cloud of smoke, filling the room in a way she likely hasn't seen before. he laughs, a sinister thing that would terrify even some of the bravest people in this situation. he reappears directly behind her, smoke still curling around him.
they barely even blink at any of this, he realizes, and perhaps she's right — maybe he can't intimidate her. it only seems to further prove that they belong right here, helping out with talon as they have been. it's interesting and frustrating all at once.
he gives a single grunt before turning on his heel and leaving her alone, wisps of smoke remaining behind, curling around their feet.
