Day 1 in Mongolia: Gadan Monastery

The Icehouse likes to encourage indie projects. Usually we’re not very enthusiasted by horror games, but it seems that we’re getting used to them since Bloodwood Reload was created by Juanjo and his team.

This game here is My Last Friday, developed by a team named Gadan Games which is not related to our collective. Usually we wouldn’t have posted about them, but the music was created by our Friend Sam Oz.

And there is more: some of the bonus character wallpapers were illustrated by Yves, Icehouse Member.

Even if horror games are not our cup of tea, we must recognize that there has been a lot of work done on this project by their developers. The graphics are very good, with puzzles and action. Looks like a very nice game of the genre!

Day 20 - Least favorite cutscene

Meeting Gadan

This guy grosses me out so badly.  What is that stuff on his head?!  Are those supposed to be dreads or something!?

Also, I thought they made it kind of...blatantly obvious that he was the source of the town's problems.  Regarding Aira, Tio, and Selene, it was slightly obvious, but not as much as this.
