I watched kpop demon hunters and it gave me so many feelings about gabbro in particular. except like. they're both rumi and jinu so it's just about them falling in love w themself, which ig isn't all that far from the message of the movie????

YEAH! I love Gabbro!

They're the spawn of Vaermina, created for a loyal follower of hers who's nightmare was to have a child. So they're literally a nightmare, and they've been treated like a nightmare for a good chunk of their life. Eventually they left the cult they were raised in (once their father had been suitably traumatized) and wandered Tamriel. Because children in cults of Vaermina aren't allowed to socialize, Gabbro had to learn all their social skills during this wandering period of their life. It means they're a little bit odd, but that's okay, we love them anyway.

Eventually they found Gossan's camp, though they had to spend a good amount of time watching them to make sure it wasn't another weird cult before they joined. The deciding factor may have been Chert, who they fell in love with at first sight.

Unfortunately they're not used to being loved in return. I mean, they were raised by a man who was terrified of them, their mother just considers them "some thing i made once," they had no real friends. So when Chert falls for them back they don't really do anything about it for several years.

also it's dumb that you wake up fine after the explosion savos aren and ancano cause at the college of winterhold. so chert got a little fucked up. they're fine, just stuck with some funny magic burns :)
