So the original concept for Gae? It was a mesmer. I think i ended up switching to necro cos i really just hated playing mesmer lmao... and liked necro more

Anyway idr the actual logic behind it all but I was intrigued by a blind character (i have always been, as well as other disabled characters - increasingly now that I have diagnoses of my own but thats a different tangent) and it was supposed to be a mesmer for like... seeing through their clones and stuff? idk exactly how that worked, but anyway.

Thats why sight not being really his strongest sense became a thing. He wasn't originally blind, and he still isn't completely, but as I've developed him its gotten a bit more defined. (if he really wanted to see without his spectral vision thing though, i think he'd need glasses. but i think he mostly uses them for reading/writing if braille or tts isn't available. Yes, his own notes are absolutely incomprehensible to anyone else.)
