I was going to show these to my friend, but then I decided to make a post here. There’s an old park in Gagra, Abkhazia. And a part of it is a group of glass mosaic covered sculptures that was made like more than 40 years ago. This place is not a famous tourist attraction. It’s covered in trees leafs and feels abandoned. Even though there’s a road nearby. I love it so much! It’s so colorful and bright. It’s really interesting to walk around these things. To look trough holes, to search creatures at walls, to touch round shaped forms. To climb on them and rest with a book or draw. And even if there’s really hot outside trees that are growing around keep this area in shadow so it’s comfortably cold. I wish I could see this place filled with children. I think it could be really interesting for them to play on it. I’m not a good photographer tho. But there it is anyway.  First one was taken by my mother. upd. ----- I did some researching. The sculptures was made in 60s by Zurab Ceritelli. He’s a monumentalist famous by his metal sculptures. But it seems that these was his earliest works. He did a lot this kind of sculptures in Abkhazia such as many of bus stops shaped as different kinds of sea animals and sea shell.  And there’s also a large Sun Town called kid’s playground in Sochi. With fishes and crocodiles.  I hope i’ll visit it this year.
