Hay, even though you felt it was your dream job, the fact that they didn't choose you means that they probably weren't as good a fit as you hoped. It sucks, and I'm sorry you didn't get it, but don't beat yourself up. You have worth beyond what people pay you for.

Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot to me. I just wish that job searches (and consequently their interviews) didn’t suck so much. I’m thinking of applying to a retail job in the meantime to help tide me over financially while I continue looking for openings within my field.

Ahh I finally found your comment after wading for a bit in my activity log! I finally had some time and energy today to pull out my Windows tablet to do some stuff on it. There are just some things that are better done on a PC than on a mobile app - such as replying to Tumblr comments, for instance.

Thanks! It is especially nice to see the Taiwanese side of the family because I haven’t been to see them in 3 years, and I haven’t celebrated Chinese New Year with them in over 7 years. I’m pumped, to say the least!

I’m not one much for taking photos as I prefer living in the moment, but my entire family are photography whores, so I am sure I can snag some photos from them and post it here, if there is interest from my followers in seeing what CNY is like! :D

Yep. People tend to think of me as a whore or slut because of my looks. You see here in Mexico, blonde chicks are not that common. People sometimes tend to get a little bit racist. Especially the girls. They look at me with such disdain… it’s not even funny. 

Turbo: Do you get jealous easily?

Jealous, huh… Sometimes, haha! And over the silliest of things! Like I want my hair to look just as pretty and wavy as those other girls, but I guess I wouldn’t be me haha!

1. The meaning behind my URL.

Mmm… Well, I kinda have this obsession over the meanings of flowers and flowers in general. Which kinda explains my previous URL: shastadaisies. 

What I went for this time was a flower named snowdrop. The flower symbolizes new beginnings and hope. And strangely enough, they bloom at the end of winter (same time as I made this new tumblr) and announce the approach of spring time. The petals are bell-shaped, too! 

I just added lingering ‘cause I thought it had a nice ring to it.

17. Fact about my life.

I flunked college so I could pursue my dream of being a private pilot and maybe, just maybe, join the Flight Navy. 

18. Phobia. 

Aquaphobia. I hate the mere thought of ever swimming in deep places. I tried to learn swimming, I really did, but it didn’t work out too well. I panicked every single second my instructor told me to get on my back on the 10 ft deep pool. Ugh, most horrifying experience ever.
