Normally I wouldn’t get too excited about Alex Kidd in Miracle World or Gain Ground, but having gotten the M2 Sega Ages treatment, I’m inclined to reevaluate them. Gain Ground, as an early, pioneering strategy game, will probably fare better than Alex Kidd, a weird platformer.
Both Miracle World (with a rewind function) and Gain Ground (with a mode that instantly unlocks all the characters, and a new easy difficulty mode) are available today for $7.99 each.
