galacticcoffee is an aspiring comic artist and animator, currently studying animation in BCFE. I pull inspiration from all areas, but mostly from cartoons, music, fashion, and witchcraft! Currently I sell prints and pins but am looking into creating comics and zines in the near future.

(same anon) I'm starting an animation course this year so I may be able to help? :L See if you can ask a teacher or something about what supplies they have and what you need, because they'll know what they want you to use, and art shit is e x p e n s i v e. It's v hard to give advice on how to draw through a computer screen, but just look up some diagrams and info about proportions and do your best to draw what you see! It seems like you're being forced into this class, so it's likely you're -

DON’T EVEN TELL ABOUT HOW EXPENSIVE THEY ARE BECAUSE I HAVE TO PAY FOR THEM MYSELF SO OMG.

i think if i actually sign up for college, i’ll start looking for tutorials and kind of getting ahead in the game so i’m not that behind once i get to drawing. I mean the major i’m looking for is administration with emphasis in advertising and graphic communication, i’m just afraid they tell me “you can’t do well in this career if you don’t know how to properly draw” or “if you don’t know how to draw you shouldn’t sign up for this career” and i need to talk to my parents about it and i’m worried and i want to understand what courses i need to take in order to tell them.
