Camera or phone? by Charles Kottler The galactic core as pictured by a Google Pixel 4. Purists might object, but I'm blown away by the quality of picture that can be achieved with almost no effort. The hardest part of obtaining this photo was trying to support the phone at the correct angle while still allowing access to the screen - I used a garden fork :). If it is dark enough and the phone does not detect any motion then it automatically selects astrophotography mode - just tap the start button, wait 4 minutes and watch the photo slowly emerge. https://flic.kr/p/2jpCvXo
