The Basilica of Santa Caterina d'Alessandria in Galatina, Apulia Italy was built between 1369 and 1391 by order of Raimondello Orsini del Balzo, who climbed to the top of Sinai to pay tribute to the body of the Saint bringing a finger that is still preserves.
