The three of them are in love with each other.

Rinn is coming of age. Her parents passed a fews years ago and the country has been run by the advisers and the church until she was of age (20). It’s her coronation and she was interrupted twice by fierceclaw clan alpha princess drum, and demoa emperor Kyan asking for her diplomatic hand in marriage to help them in the war. It’s no wonder they were asking, they both begged for allegiance with gnomes since her parents ruled. Now she was in charge they would ask the same. But marriage?

“Please take my daughters hand. Though i don’t believe in her thinking i will forgive it if you join us.” Emperor Kyan

“Me the alpha of many troops of wolf! Marry me, you and me lead and fight together!” Drum proclaims making her pack erupt in howls.

She has to choose one and the she doesn’t choose will probably seek vengeance.

Side plot: Drum and Teyx have an enemies to lovers secret crush on each other
