“W-what are they talking about...?”
Spinel would pipe up to interrupt Peridot, proclaiming, “Oh yeah, the brown-haired kid, um... Steving? Yeah, that’s right!”
“Y-you saw a Gem?! Y-you should’ve reported that to me immediately!”
Laughing in response, she’d assure her, “Noo, it was just a human! I think they can use Warp Pads, I dunno!”
“T-Tell me everything!” Peridot urged, feeling quite frazzled.
Nodding, Spinel would begin to explain...
__
Not too long ago, the little pink Gem had found herself landing on Earth in a small ship, where there was handily a Warp Pad nearby. She guided her little Robonoids back toward it and stood in the center, surrounded by them in a cute manner.
As she went through the warp, she stuck her head out to make funny faces, seemingly at nobody... only to realize she saw someone else’s face! Excitedly, she’d move to wave, but realize that the face she saw seemed a bit confused and stressed... and a bit snotty, rather than being happy to see a silly face.
“Hmm, I wonder if they’re having a bad day...” she thought to herself when she brought her head back. But eh, that’s not worth worrying about.
Wait, was that a human, actually? That’s odd, she didn’t think they could use those... but maybe they evolved weird?
Anyway, Spinel and the Robonoids would continue to warp to various locations to try and find where the Homeworld Warp was, a bit unfamiliar with how this worked. All her Robonoids were simply following her lead, trusting her quite a bit it seemed.
Eventually, she oddly found herself inside of a house, and that same child from before would end up screaming in shock when he saw her.
“O-oh, h-hello!” Spinel greeted, smiling happily.
At first, he seemed scared, but he’d slowly stand back up.
From another room, someone asked, “What was that, Steven?”
“Uh, nothing, just uh- singing to myself!”
Whispering to Steving- oh wait, it was Steven- Spinel would ask, “Can you help me out? I don’t know where to find that uh, Homeworld Warp thing?”
It seemed that at first this Steven guy was unsure, but would step closer, seemingly feeling more trusting of her. He’d reach over and hold her hand before taking a stance and...
...suddenly, they were at the Galaxy Warp! Wow, just like that! Who knew humans could be better at warping than some Gems?
As he watched her Robonoids move to fix up the Homeworld Warp, he’d ask her nervously, “D-do you promise that nothing bad is going to happen to Earth now that this is fixed?”
“Of course, silly! All we’re gonna do is check to make sure everything’s workin’ alright! And hey, with this fixed, I could come and say hi to you whenever I want! Wouldn’t that be fun?”
Scratching the back of his head, he’d reply with a small smile, “W-well, yeah, I guess.”
“Alrighty, bye~”
She waved to him and soon warped away, reporting back to Peridot that it was a complete success.

“Hmm, I guess it is entirely possible humans evolved in a way that allowed them to access our technology, but it is still quite an oddity. But I guess as long as you’re not in any danger from Gems, then this isn’t any issue.”
