It was nice reading about a fat main character without the fatphobia that typically comes with it. Yes they were at fat camp, but none of the squad members questioned V’s role as action girl and quite frankly, she kicked some MAJOR ASS with that canoe paddle. Peep the damn cover! The rest of this messy crew were incredibly likable and I was rooting for all of them to succeed in their fight for survival!
