Merry DnD Christmas!! I made a bunch of chibis of our group’s characters, and also featuring @kimbles ‘ Rhos because she has amazing character designs.

Here’s a picture of all the characters in my D&D group! I’ve been having a blast playing this with a bunch of friends for a while and felt like drawing their awesome characters. 

None of them are mine, except Menuet, the half-elf druid. Galdrik, the half-orc bard, is @suroseno ‘s ! 

Our lovely DM also streams our sessions every saturday night, meet us there!

To that kind anon asking about Galdrik

I accidentally deleted the ask because I have two(2) braincells but I’m gonna reply to it here! Thank you for that ask by the way, it’s very very kind! ♥

First his likes and dislikes, and then I’ll talk about his family under the read more because I ended up writing his whole character arc.

Galdrik really likes himself. He’s a half-orc who developed his music skills mostly on his own. Coming from a very different background compared to his peers, he’s very proud of his popularity. He likes entertainment, being charming and seductive, and his friend and husband! He is sometimes a little power hungry and takes too many risks. His favorite spell is his newly acquired “Mordenkainen's Magnificent Mansion”.

However, he doesn’t really like alcohol, mud and dungeons. More important, he doesn’t tolerate any kind of bigotry and will always stand up for others.

About family, he had two sisters and a brother. His mom was one of the greatest fighters of their tribe, The Burning Fist, and his dad was an herbalist. However, his mother and his brother both died after Galdrik was sent away to avoid suffering from the coming conflicts between tribes, when he was just a young teen. 

Their deaths affected his father greatly, and eventually made him accept a cursed power apparently bestowed by Gruumsh himself. Unaware of the events happening there, Galdrik returned to a tyrannic one-eyed father with a red glow coming from his chest, ruling over a gigantic army, ready to crush a nearby human city. His younger sister, a wolf-riding ranger, greeted him and his group with joy and lead them to his father, hoping Galdrik would be able to make him snap out of it. He tried talking to his father, but to no avail. 

Galdrik and his group went back to the assaulted human city and started helping, training soldiers and building fortifications for their last fight. Yet, as the troops were closing in, Galdrik left the fort and walked through the snow fields to meet with his father leading this gigantic army. He tried talking one last time, but quickly realized had to duel his father to prove him right.

Knowing the source of evil was embed in his father chest, Galdrik imbued his hands with metal, cast heat metal on them, and started clawing his way through his father's chest, while being hit by the flaming greatsword he had. Despite his efforts, his own searing hands and the blade of his father hurt him too badly. In a desperate stand, he used an artifact he was forbidden to use. With it, he sucked the soul out of his father's body and instead filled his corpse with necrotic energy. 

His father immediately withered into a pathetic corpse, and among his remains, a red stone, with a shape similar to Galdrik's artifact, was found. The whole army went silent and was commanded to leave by his older sister, who was their father's lieutenant. She then turned to Galdrik and told him to never come back, before leaving with her crying sister. 

Galrik buried the remains of his father under the snow, took the greatsword and the red artifact, and left the battlefield.
