Masquarade de Quentin Garel

A la Galerie LJ jusqu’au 27 février, à Paris

Quentin Garel s’inspire du monde animal et transforme les animaux en d’immenses sculptures aux tailles démesurées. Il travaille l’anatomie, les squelettes, les vestiges archéologiques pour créer des sculptures aux formes hybrides. L’artiste joue avec humour et illusion pour détourner les formes et créer de nouveaux assemblages de bois, de bronze et d’acier. Il travaille les matières avec un tel détail qu’on ne les différencierait pas à l’œil nu.
