He hates being manic after the fact, but god does he miss it when he’s depressed.
It’s just not fair, feeling so good for so long and then feeling so fucking bad.
His therapist said he should talk to Mickey about it instead of holding in his feelings, dealing with it on his own.
Mickey knows it’s happening, because of course he does, but it’s still Ian’s responsibility to trudge into the kitchen and say, “I’m not okay.” And he can’t pretend he is.
Mickey’s so good, never makes it a big deal, just walks over and takes his hand.
