Summary: After combing the greater Chicago area, Mickey comes to the conclusion that trying to find a good fuck is a big pain in the ass, and not in a good way. And now this Gallagher guy, who looks like he cries during sex, keeps showing up at his work and making eyes at him. There’s absolutely no way that soft-looking motherfucker can handle Mickey.

Mickey and Ian lay in the living room, exhausted, surrounded by cardboard boxes. 

“I hate moving,” Mickey muttered.

“Your idea. Your dog. Your fault.”

Beside them June whined, and Ian quickly reached over to scratch her head. 

Mickey snickered. “You love her too.”

“Do not.”

“Do too.” 

“Fuck,” Ian dropped back to the floor. “Why do I put up with you?”

“Same reason I put up with you, fuckface. Never been anybody else for me. Not anyone else for you either. We’re meant to be. Fate or whatever.”

“Pheromones. Chemistry. Bad parenting,” Ian grinned at Mickey’s look. “Love you. Asshole.”

Chemistry

Bit late to the @galladrabbles party this week, but I have at last thought up a drabble for @gallavich-annise 's prompt 'chemistry'. Thank you both 😁I'm back in husband era again!

“Mickey, what are you doing?” 

“Helping Franny with her school assignment.” 

Mickey stands up, arms filled with various bottles from around the house. Ian looks at him quizzically as he tries to balance bottles of bleach, ammonia, cooking oil, aftershave, aerosol, lighter fluid, white spirit... 

“Um... Mickey? What’s the assignment?” 

“Not sure. But that chemistry kit you brought her is crap and we can’t make anything explode so we’re gonna try this shit.” 

Mickey’s eyes gleam with excitement. 

“No.” 

“What the fuck Ian?” 

Ian shakes his head, “No.” 

“But Ian...” he whines. 

“No.” 

Mickey stomps off muttering loudly. 

“Fuckin’ spoilsport.”
