I have been retaking photos the last few days which has been fun. It makes me realize how much art I have created over the years and stowed away carefully ‘for the future’ for fun, for art shows someday, and I also see how my life has progressed in the art over time. Different perspectives in life, changing family life, personal growth, spiritual growth, world views....and more. I have a whole pile of art to someday focus to put online as #vintageart that is up in a closet waiting to see the light of day. I have paintings on canvas for #galleryart that I find is easiest to consider for #gallerywork because it is much easier to hang than #artonpaper. When I was young I used to get an entire #gallery to myself and the director would allow me to have total freedom with the #gallerywall, I would go in and literally staple gun my art on paper to the walls and cover as much area as I could with my artwork. Those were fun #artshows! It made a mess out of the walls & yes they had to be repainted at the end of the show, but the #galleries were always very happy with the turnout for the #galleryopening night and people later told myself & the gallery that the art show gave them inspiration to go into the arts themselves because the #art was approachable, not sterile, challenging to the gallery space, and made them reconsider what art was or could be. People said that they would go to more art shows & do more art because they now saw #artdifferently. I appreciated the honesty of the people and it made me want to create more. This #goldfish is a huge difference from my #rawart style that is much more #abstract and #contemporary but it is a part of my #artevolution. I will be posting more of my #originalart over the next few months 😃 (at Ogemaw County, Michigan) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMHqzpYh_t9/?igshid=1d17ady8gsh17
