Storybeats: If you could design one scene to happen in the story, what would it be? How would it change your character? What would make it so satisfying for the character arc?

Honestly, it’s a bit early for me to have a real answer for that tbh! Not gonna lie, I love questions like these because I always think about this kind of stuff when I finish something. But as of rn I have no thoughts or notes DJSJ. As a partial answer for the drama of it all SKSJS if Seven or even Orion or just the RO of choice noticed Dakota’s number on MCs arm and had any type of reaction I’d eat that shit up ngl. If this did happen Octavia would probably feel mostly embarrassed internally but outwardly blank and inspecting Seven for response. They are also harboring a crush so for Orion they would probably make a teasing comment. (and get shot down again lmao)

Bandmates: How do they feel about the members of the band? Would they still be interested in stardom if they weren’t with that group?

I answered Rowan in detail earlier lol and to try to avoid that again imma try to be short lol.

Iris & Devyn: Trusts them with absolutely everything. Drama happens? Where’s Iris and Devyn? Need advice? Where’s Iris and Devyn. Need to vent, cry, shop, laugh. The answer is Iris and Devyn. They’re a very safe space of Octavia and a very necessary breath of fresh air, but ngl there’s a little jealousy over what they still have they she no longer has. Sometimes when the three of them hangout Octavia internalizes being third wheel, I don’t think they ever actively exclude them, of course. But Octavia live in their head and has a way of viewing the world that skews it against her.

Performance: What are they thinking and feeling while they’re performing? How do they act on stage?

Head empty in the best way. Entirely in the moment and honestly think it’s just another kind of high for them. Whatever the vibe of the song is is how they feel. They put their emotions in everything they do because they don’t know any other way to do things. Octavia is an incredibly honest person and I think the truest version of themself is when they’re on a stage. Their songs and music for them are just all consuming. Off stage I think Octavia has a harder time being confident because they’re too in their head and too aware of everything esp around people so they mostly operate off of fake it til you make it. But on stage they don’t have to fake anything. They just do what they know they can do and they do it well.

Bruno should start up a local theatre production after he returns,,, writing plays and painting sets,,, I don't think he'd be into being so much in the spotlight himself (think there's a little bit of a difference between silly voices you do for your nieces and nephews and like performing on a stage) but i think it would be fun to see him running around backstage helping with moving the sets around and lighting. He's quite good at running around catwalks after all that time running around in the walls lol

He always gets to come out and do a bow at the end of the production though as the writer and the reason that the theatre is even there in the first place. :")

Imagine the Madrigals all using their gifts to lend a help hand :')

-Julieta would of course provide catering and even the prop food needed for the show.

-Luisa would help build and move set pieces.

-Isabela would decorate the sets.

-Mirabel helps make costumes and props.

-Pepa could do special effects so if a scene calls for rain or sounds of of thunder she's on it!

-Camilo would absolutely jump at the opportunity of a lead role.

-Dolores would be in the wings always listening to cue the actors, scene changes etc.

-Antonio would be in control of any animals on set and would be able to get a performance out of them Bruno could only dream of getting from his rats.

-Even Félix and Agustín would help around with moving set pieces, so long as Félix is leading the charge and monitoring Agustín to make sure he doesn't break something or hurt himself.

And of course at the front center row, Brunito always has a seat reserved for his Mama, who attends every single show.

Alistair arrived at Skyhold today, by my invitation. He needed to get out of that palace. He is doing a magnificent job—I am sure you know that—but he needed a change of scenery. He came with Fletcher. Both are in good health, but both miss you very much (Alistair said so at least fifteen times, but you can see it on both of their faces regardless).

Perhaps I misstepped by not letting the Inquisitor know that I had invited him. She certainly did not give him the warmest welcome. For that, I apologized to him. But she has warmed to him. I think all people do, once they have a chance to speak to him for a while. He also had some time to catch up with Cullen Rutherford, the Inquisition’s commander. Perhaps you remember him—the young templar left alive at Ferelden’s Circle. He was alarmed to see such a familiar face, I think more so knowing that Alistair is his king, but he absolutely doted on Fletcher.

Anyway, I expect he will stay here at least a few days. The time away from Denerim will do him some good.

How does your search fare? I do hope you find what you are looking for sooner than later, for both of your sakes. Take care of yourself. You do not need me to tell you, but these are dangerous times.

A question about my beloved Sol ☀️💚

I wish I had a more romantic tale to tell, the first time I laid eyes on him was when I first performed for the Pythian Royal Court. My old dance troupe was hired to entertain the king and his court, and during the performance the sun glinted off the Crown Prince's iridescent scales, catching my eye.

But our first conversation was far from idyllic.

Some weeks after this initial sighting, he requested a private meeting with me, though "requested" may be too light of a word. I met with him and his personal guard in his quarters, I can't say it wasn't intimidating.

He had put together that I was working for his father as an informant, but he wasn't angry, he gave me the benefit of the doubt. And in truth I was ignorant of his father's tryanny, which Sol laid out quite plainly, before giving me the opportunity to work with him instead, to feed the king false information.

I accepted, and this lead quite naturally into the second part of your question, — what drew me to him. We met many times while working against the king, and I saw his kindness, the strength of his convictions and his morals, his determination to be different to his father.

I had a front row seat to the strength of his character, and the full force of his determination to do right by his people. I don't feel there was a single aspect that drew me too him, it was a mix of these qualities that had me falling in love with him while we worked together.

Thank you for asking, I love few things more than discussing my beloved. However, I would have preferred to spin a more romantic fable than the truth that these feelings bloomed as we planned a coupe.

My favourite doll is Mildred! She's been with me the longest! She was given to me by a relative as a child, and I was fascinated by her. She's been a friend to me for most of my life. For as long as I've had her I've felt watched over, and comforted. She just wants somewhere nice to hang out with her friends, she's been really welcoming of new additions to the family as well!

Millie's not the most active physically, but she has an undeniable presence! Even people who aren't very sensitive to spirits get the feeling that someone's there with them around her. Her big brown eyes really make it look like she can see you, as well! Some people find her unsettling because of this, but she's a sweetheart 💗

I don't know if it would count as an investigation, as I already knew about the spirit in question, but favourite ghost experience is actually one that wasn't associated with Wraith Watch.

As you may know, my boyfriend is afraid of ghosts. I don't blame him, it's unknown, and it's something that can have scary connotations. Also, because of his job, he's only available at night, which can add to the frightening atmosphere! So he's only accompanied me a handful of times.

But one night he agreed to accompany me to observe a phenomenon I find fascinating! Sometimes a spirit will stay somewhere not because it's associated with their death, but simply because it's somewhere they loved in life. I tend to leave these spirits alone, they're doing no harm and I trust them to move on when they feel ready.

There's such a spirit who hangs out only a short drive from our city. The location is a beautiful outlook in the desert, especially at night, when the scorching sun is replaced by a blanket of stars.

I was honest with Leo, so he was tense to start with, holding tight to my hand, but the beautiful location helped him calm down, and we sat on the hood of his car. It took barely half an hour for the apparition to show up. They knew were there, but didn't acknowledge us, nor did we do anything to disturb them.

The three of us hung out in silence, enjoying the beautiful scenery and watching the stars, until it got into the early hours of the morning, and Leo became tired. It was the first time he's wanted to leave somewhere haunted because he was tired, rather than scared!

It was really special to share one of my interests with him, and see him so comfortable with it! It's also one of my favourite supernatural phenomenons to observe. I struggle to think of something more beautiful than the fact that you can love something so much that your love will outlast death itself. Thanks for asking!
