I present you guys: Galvanapocalypse

At least, the first episode... (I call this one “Mama“. The episodes didn’t have names before, but now they do.)

I made this about 3 years ago, so I guess I’m celebrating its third anniversary in public.

It all started with me making this cursed image:

A few minutes later, it just dissolved into this shitstain of a private miniseries made in Capcut known as Galvanapocalypse. No idea how, but it happened, so I guess I have to deal with it. I was REALLY dedicated to it, so much so that I “Galvanaffected“ some more characters, My Singing Monsters or not.

Believe it or not, this was the first stone for all of my creations, currently resided in ISAH. (“I Suck At Humor“. The name’s pretty accurate ngl) Can’t believe how it went from a parody of infection AUs to a whole multiverse with a buncha characters!

This shitty fucking miniseries holds a special place in my heart, because it’s a reminder for many things: that a small thing can lead to something much bigger, and that Capcut is either going bankrupt or becoming greedy as hell.

So I decided that I’ll be posting one Galvanapocalypse episode daily, as a sort of way to celebrate. Excuse me if the episodes are really cringe, it’s just that I only decided to do this now than last year because I wasn’t considering on getting Tumblr back then. I’ll also be putting a Galvanaffected character along with the episodes in chronological order of creation. Like this:

Unrelated, but this was made back when I still used TikTok. I stopped using it 2 years ago, and I can use Tumblr as some sort of alternative. Seems like Tumblr users are way better, so I’m glad to have signed in here back in September.

So this is what we've come to... fine, yeah, I admit, I once jokingly posted a CapCut template video declaring Loodvigg as my "husband" of sorts. After all, they were one of my favorite Celestials back before I even made GVP (yes, because I made this fuckass video on December 18th)

Galvanapocalypse was like the beginning of a chapter in my life. No idea how, but it felt like it. I could’ve just let it be as a collection of memey images.

But fate did not like that.

@parselex was partially involved in the creation of Galvanapocalypse, sometimes deciding how the story should go (the only episode I remember this happening with is the last one, but there may have been more, just at a lower scale). We still talk to each other about it, but rarely, as I’ve mostly moved on to other projects of mine.

It's about time I reminisce the past.

History seems to be repeating itself when it comes to fictional crushes. Right now, I'm simping for Geode, but 3 years ago I was probably simping for, say, Jeeode (this may or may not be an example). Those two characters have one thing in common: being sentient rocks. Ok, maybe the reason I simp for Geode is because of birthmonth bias, but whatever.

Another example of history repeating itself: when I joined the OSC, I realized that my characterization of Vhamp (mysterious Morse code speaking robot(ish) guy) is similar to Roboty's characterization (same thing). Tbh I think that's a pretty funny coincidence uh idk what else to write here so have the galvanaffected fella

Today's Subject: Orbulon (WarioWare)

I don't have a name for this guy, all I know is that he's not canon. Yeah, uh, did I ever mention I was in the WarioWare fandom at the time? Yeah pretty cool I know, especially since I ALSO used to simp for Orbulon. (Don't ask why)

Shit, the WarioWare fandom is only active whenever a game releases, otherwise it's DEAD AS FUCK. A struggle, innit? Oh also 9-Volt shares a VA with Dozer (my (former?) favorite Cookie Run character).

I apologize for not doing the Galvana this Friday (even though I had the free time for it), I got too excited since today is the human birthday (not wriggling day, since trolls have a different calendar) for my very first fantroll which I've certainly mentioned before: Hexago Saturn.

It's been quite a while since I've worked on the project he's associated with. That doesn't mean it's scrapped, as I may publish it on MSPFA or what have you sometime in my life (if I don't grow out of the Homestuckie, obviously). The best part is that it's a SATURday in 2026. 6/6/26. That's a lot of 6s. Hexago would be proud.

I took this opportunity to go to the book fair in Lisbon to get myself some Junji Ito manga (it's one of Hexago's interests, aside from Pretty Cure and serial killers. In fact, he's the reason I began reading manga in the first place. Shoutout Hexago Saturn fr). I also got non-Junji Ito books as well, namely my guilty pleasure (which I am NOT revealing), Made in Abyss (the cashier man even warned me of the horrors in the story) and, you're not prepared for this: DJ Cat Gosshī World Tour. I'm sure you've never heard of this manga ever in your LIFE.

And that's completely justifiable! I didn't either! It's a self-published manga by Harukishi that's a compilation of stories in a zine about a Japanese cat DJ named Gosshī (hence the title) going around the world collecting CDs, vinyls, other stuff and weed. I personally recommend it, it's funny af to the point I jokingly refer to as the "greatest manga that's ever graced the universe". That is, if it even has an English translation out there. I swear, it's so obscure that I almost thought I was in a Junji Ito story myself when I first searched its name online.

*pants* Ok... here's the Galvana already... I can't see the end of the horizon...
